The Perfect New Years Get Away*

    November 24, 2015 /

As a single mother, New Year celebration has become non and void these days. My parents are at the age where they have a better social life than me and I don’t really have any other babysitting options. I’m blessed to have had one really good one though before I hit motherhood that I still think fondly of every Decemeber 31st. But instead of looking to the past, today I’m exploring future new years. Hopefully it won’t always be this way (sat on my own in the lounge sloshed on a bottle of wine and M&S take away) and that one day I’ll be able to celebrate in style once…

    November 19, 2015 /

Where has this year gone? Seriously! I think this has to be the fastest year yet. I find myself asking every day “how on earth did we get to this point in the year?” It’s crazy that we’re over half way through November now. This year has been both the best and one of the worst but I will go into the good and bad points and the highs and lows in my end of year round up on the 31st December. Today however I’m sharing with you three perfect moments from this year. I’m not even going to apologise for the fact that they’re all from various Disney trips.…

    Photo Printing with Cheerz

    November 15, 2015 /

In my opinion there is nothing better than printed photos. Yes, there are so many ways to share your photos online so everyone can see, which is of course nice, but I still love decorating my home and gifting people hard copies. Especially around Christmas time. Last year LM had a Christmas photoshoot with a local studio, but this year I just didn’t have the money, so when I was offered the chance to have some of my photos printed by Cheerz, I jumped at the chance. If you haven’t heard about Cheerz before, they’re a new photo printing app and website, that enables you to print your photos in…

What Little Miss Read – Holiday Books*

    November 14, 2015 /

And by holiday I mean, the season, not a trip. We have two more children’s books to review on the blog today. It’s so exciting that LM is getting this chance because she really does love books and stories. She’s at the age where she likes me to read it, and then she reads back to me. Books are a huge part of her life and I know already she’s going to be an avid reader which of course is something I’m incredibly happy with. Books and reading was a huge part of my life, and still is when I get the chance. So I obviously wanted LM to get…
