LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEM NO LONGER FOR SALE So something extra special for Blogmas today, I’m the blogger behind the next door on The Body Shop’s #24daysofhappiness Advent Calendar! How exciting? I love The Body Shop, especially at Christmas and every year I stock up on their seasonal body butter to last me throughout the year, and of course, this year is no different. I’m so glad to have a healthy stash of their Frosted Cranberry butter which is what I’m going to share with you all today because their Frosted Cranberry Collection is what is hiding behind door number 5. #HolidayHeroes Competition with Ice Lolly*

    December 3, 2015 /

I decided to do something a little different for my third day of Blogmas. Today I’m going to share with you my heroes of 2015. I usually do some kind of post towards the end of the year about the people who have played an important role over the last year, so I thought i’d combine it with the fact Ice Lolly are running a competition about #HolidayHeroes and it’s now down to the last 9! One of these wonderfully deserving people will win a holiday to Majorca! Head over to Ice Lolly’s #HolidayHeroes page now, and by voting you’ll also get £50 off your next holiday! So, back to…

What Star Wars Means to Me

    December 1, 2015 /

Today may be the start of December making us into the home stretch for Christmas, but for me, December marks another home stretch, the run up to Star Wars Episode VII, The Force Awakens. For me, this is the most anticipated movie of the year. I will be watching the previous 6 movies before I go see it. I have watched and analysised the trailer. I have seen and read cast interviews, but I doubt I’ll ever be ready for what I’m going to see in the cinema. It’s going to be The Return of the King all over again. Star Wars has been a huge part of my life…

Caring for Your Skin During Winter*

    November 26, 2015 /

I have never had an easy ride when it comes to skin, especially in winter. It’s not like i’ve had acne, but my skin seems to change type rather randomly which is frustrating when you just find a routine that works. As a teenager I had incredibly sensitive skin to the point I could only use products that were prescribed by a doctor. Over the years it’s gradually improved but it was always more on the dry side especially on my cheeks and around my eyes and mouth (poor Little Miss seems to have inherited this). Team this with horrible under the skin pimples and hormonal break outs and it’s…

5 Things I Love About Winter*

    November 25, 2015 /

Okay, so I’m having a bad week, and a lot of it is down to the weather. Storms keeping LM awake meaning she’s in my bed most nights (the back of my house is like a wind tunnel and so loud in a storm), the cold meaning I wake in the night anyway because breathing in the cold air makes me cough. Constantly getting caught in the rain because of the showers and the fact the bus doesn’t go towards LM’s school. It’s making me really miserable and grumpy. So to combat that today I’m going to share 5 things about winter I do actually enjoy (that aren’t Christmas or…
