Six Good Reasons to Visit Edinburgh This Year*
*Collaborative piece. The spending money was gifted by Hotels.com, but all views are my own. Every year I say I’m going to make more of an effort to explore the UK, but then never get around to doing it. This year that’s going to change and I really a going to see more. Most people cannot wait to jet off abroad where they’re almost guaranteed beautiful sunshine and white sandy beaches, I’m among them. However, it means I’ve reached the ripe old age of 31 without hardly seeing anywhere. This has got to change. So I’m taking a stand, I’m going to see more places closer to home and I…

5 Things to Do If Your Flight is Delayed*
Last year I had the unfortunate experience of my flight being severely delayed and then cancelled. Thankfully I was travelling on my own and it was before the final train back to my home town so I was able to hop on that and then have my dad collect me from the station at 11 pm. Had it even been an hour or so later I wouldn’t have made it home and it would have been a completely different story. I was flying EasyJet and they offered me a free flight (which I used in April) or compensation. The delay was due to a crew member being sick and the…

Samsonite Disney Ultimate 4 Wheel Spinner Case Review
If you’re an avid reader of Cocktails in Teacups, you’ll know I declared this year as the year of Disneyland Paris. As the months go on we do miss Florida terribly but we are making some fab memories on our trips to DLP. So far we’ve managed 3 this year thanks to our annual passes, with another 3 to go (and possibly one in January before our pass expires). Our favourite way to travel is via Eurostar which involves an almost 4 hour journey to London then almost 3 across however by taking the Eurostar we do arrive right into the gates of DLP which is a huge bonus. Flying…

Things I’m Looking Forward to Doing in Disneyland Paris, April 2017
It’s finally nearly time for our second Disneyland Paris trip of the year, and this time we’re going to celebrate the 25th Anniversary in all it’s glory! I did a post like this for our January trip. This time it’s not a surprise, LM knows we’re going and she’s excited. We haven’t bothered to avoid all the spoilers and instead we’ve really enjoyed looking at photos and watching videos of all the new happenings in the parks! We’re going for three nights again and this time we’re staying off site for the first time as we have our annual passes. As we’re going to be so busy the hotel didn’t…
