Hello Four!
As I mentioned in my post on Wednesday, Little Miss turned four this week, on Thursday actually. I cannot believe my baby is now a big girl four year old, I keep having to say it out loud to make it feel real! We had a really lovely day, just family and even my dad had managed to get the day off which is something that never happens during the week. Goodbye Three
Today is Little Miss’ last day as a three year old. Tomorrow it’s her 4th birthday. To me, four seems so much older than three. Last year when she went from two to three it didn’t feel like as a big a step. Three still feels like a baby age, or at least a toddler age. But lets face it, four is a big step. At four she’s going to start big school, and wear a uniform and be away from me 6 hours a day for 5 days a week. And I’m dreading it. Gorgeous Grandma Day, 23rd July 2015*
Tomorrow is Gorgeous Grandma Day, and although I do think all these “unofficial” celebration days are a bit silly, I’m happy to take any opportunity to praise my Nanny (my Grandmother) and my mum (Little Miss’ Grandmother), especially after the year we’ve had with loosing my Grandpa. My Nanny is one in a million. She is now the head of our family after her husband, my Grandpa passed away in January. They have been together since my Nanny was 15 and married since she was 17. Things I’m Looking Forward to in Summer*
Next month will begin the first summer holidays I will be spending with LM. For the past two years she attended nursery over the summer so for 5 hours a week she was still out of my hands. However since January she has been attending pre-school 5 days a week so I will really feel it when it comes to having her at home very day for 6 weeks.
