After my last post I ended up struggling to get time (or decent wifi) to update regularly while on my trip, then since returning I’ve ended up being so ill and jet lagged that it’s only really been yesterday and today I’ve felt up to doing anything more than lying around! 21st August – This Is Just Part of Growing Up, A Little Adventure, A Little Rebellion
So guys, today I’m updating from a bus somewhere between New York and Washington DC. The bus has wifi and I can’t sleep so I thought i’d check in. I can’t wait to get to Manhattan and my first stop is Magnolia Bakery because I have been dreaming of their banana pudding! I have more site seeing planned today, including a trip up Top of the Rock, as well as Central Park & Times Square. I had something else I was going to blog about tonight but after doing something that some may consider stupid or crazy, I decided I wanted to blog about how I’m spending my Travel Supermarket prize money. Because tonight I spent half of it on flights. Adventuring in Louth
The past three days I’ve been lucky enough to be in the company of my best friend Bee and her family. As my mother works in a school, unless I’m ill or have something important to do, she rarely has Little Miss for me, and she never had her over night, except when she’s on holiday which has been for the last week. So on Wednesday I caught the train down the country at 8:10am to make sure I made the most of the time I had. #176 A Picnic in the Country
As part of my blog post jiggle up, I’ve decided to share more life posts, although not to the extend that you’ll see much of my little one, sadly. I’m currently seeing a councilor to help with my anxiety and insecurity, and on their recommendation I’m doing new things, keeping busy and avoiding the mundane. I need to keep busy so I don’t dwell on the way he made me feel or have time to worry about things. Thankfully my sister has been an angel at keeping me focused while my parents have been away.
