In Retrospect – Three
Little Miss turned three two weeks ago. I can’t believe two weeks has passed already, but they have been a mentally exhausting two weeks, which is why I’m only up to posting this now. Despite everything that happened, Little Miss had a perfect birthday, a birthday fit for the princess she is. There was cake, laughter and love, everything a little three year old needed. Every year in February I sit down to write thank you cards from LM. As her birthday is in January I always wait until after that has passed before sending out the cards as it seems pointless to do one for each when I can simply send a combined one once both are over. When in doubt, dress up. This whole week has felt like an uphill struggle and tomorrow it culminates in my grandfathers funeral.
