The Little Things… Saying Thank You*
Every year in February I sit down to write thank you cards from LM. As her birthday is in January I always wait until after that has passed before sending out the cards as it seems pointless to do one for each when I can simply send a combined one once both are over. This year of course was no different and in fact this year in a way it was more important to say thank you because despite the dark cloud hovering over our family, everyone made such a fantastic effort on Little Miss’ behalf. I’ve now been trying to get into shape for Florida now for just over a month. In total I’ve lost 7lbs which is great but as I’m aiming to get as close to my pre-baby body as humanly possible I know it’s going to require a little more than just eating right.. yes it’s going to take the dreaded word.. exercise. When in doubt, dress up. This whole week has felt like an uphill struggle and tomorrow it culminates in my grandfathers funeral. I haven’t slept well so this morning I needed a fashion pick me up in the form of one of my Disney dresses. I missed last week’s Disney Side personal style post so I was going to make sure I got one up. I’m already panicking I won’t get all my dresses shared before I go! Walt Disney World Countdown… 60 Days to Go
My blog has been on hiatus but since the one thing that has kept me going over the last week is thinking and talking about Disney all. the. time, I couldn’t let today go by without doing a Disney Countdown Update. Today is the 60 day mark until our Walt Disney World holiday, and tomorrow it’ll be two months until we go! Why I’m Glad I Moved Home
Although today saw my little girl turn three, it’s actually been one of the hardest days of my life. My other grandfather will not be with us much longer, and knowing this but having to smile and put on a show for Little Miss has left me a bit of a mess now she’s in bed. I know it wasn’t just me, my mother was wonderful and put on such a brave face.
