Sometimes, you want to explore a new place as slowly as possible. You can take the time to wander the streets and duck into any restaurant or store that looks interesting. Lifestyle Content // How To Choose The Correct Bedding For Your Comfort*

    July 29, 2016 /

It is sadly too often that people choose not to put in a lot of effort when they are purchasing their bedding sets. The bed is the greatest source of rest we will ever have in our lives, and the quality of our sleep (which determines our energy, moods and health) is heavily dependent on it. If there are just a few things on life we should splurge on, our bedding and doona quilts should be among them. This decision will deeply reflect into so many aspects of our lives. In an increasingly busy world, sleep is even more valuable than it was before, and it’s incredibly important that our…

Exploring the North East – Barter Books

    July 27, 2016 /

At the moment Little Miss and I have a friend from the US staying with us meaning we’ve been off on adventures every single day. She’s an Anglophile and love all things quintessentially British which is great because I live in a rather historic part of town. We’ve walked miles every day and my legs are aching but it’s been great and I’ve really enjoyed being a tourist in the county I call home. I don’t plan on staying here forever, so it’s been great letting Little Miss explore! Yesterday we took a bus down to the historic market town of Alnwick to Barter Books. This is somewhere I’ve wanted…

My Geek Box Kids Little Princess Subscription Box Review July 2016

    July 26, 2016 /

Last week I had a bit of a surprise when I opened the door to the mail man and he was standing with another My Geek Box for Little Miss! I hadn’t ordered a second but I loved that we got one anyway and it came perfectly timed with her last day at pre-school making it a fab treat! When I had a peak inside (as at first I wasn’t sure which My Geek Box it was as they do a selection) just to make sure it was the My Geek Box Kids Little Princess subsciption box* as that would be the one most appealing to Little Miss, and much…

LittleLife Finding Nemo Swimming Bag Review

    July 24, 2016 /

I never expected our first trip to the beach to be so early on in the summer holidays. Little Miss finished pre-school on the Monday and by the Thursday we decided to spend the afternoon on the beach. It was cloudy, but the warmth we needed was there so my mum, sister, nephew, Little Miss and I headed to the local beach for an afternoon on the sands. Knowing my wannabe mermaid child well enough I made sure I was armed with a towel and her swimsuit and rightly so given 10 minutes in and she was in the sea despite the water being freezing, lets face it, the kids…

Metro Radio Arena Disney On Ice Presents Frozen October 2016

    July 23, 2016 /

As we all know, from the UK the closest Disney park is Disneyland Paris, and although that’s still only just over an hour on the plane, it’s still a fair treck and a lot of money. However, twice a year, arenas around the UK play host to the Disney on Ice spectical! As a child we used to go once a year to bridge the gap between our Disney holidays and Little Miss has been twice already with another trip happening in October straight after our Walt Disney World holiday, so at least we have that to look forward to! In October Disney on Ice will be presenting Frozen! I…
