Little Miss has been collecting Tsum Tsum’s for a good few years, mainly the small plush ones but since we went to Florida in March, Little Miss has been into the vinyl ones or squishy ones. They’re small enough she can play with them in her dolls house or carry them around in her little bags. Until recently the only ones that have been available in the UK are the squishy ones but over the last couple of months we’ve finally got the Vinyl ones that Little Miss loved so much while we were away so of course we’ve really started collecting these. Usually we grab the stackable mystery packs which are available in Tesco for £3 and are a great pocket money treat but this week Little Miss was lucky enough to receive a couple of larger packs through the mail.
The vinyl Tsum Tsum’s are available at Smyths Toys along with a whole load of other Tsum Tsum products (that Little Miss has her eye on for Christmas). The small three stack pack* is £4.99 and comes with a small, medium and large Tsum Tsum. There are 21 one of these sets to collect and they also come with a collectors guide so you can mark of which ones you have. There are no surprises in this pack, you can see all the Tsum Tsums you’ll be getting, great if you already have a lot and don’t want to end up with doubles.
The large nine stack pack* is £14.99 contains 3 large Tsum Tsums, 3 mediums although one is a mystery and 3 small ones. Little Miss is very like me and loves the thrill of a surprise, this is the reason we always like to buy the small mystery stack packs. She likes to guess what is in the mystery one which adds to the fun.
Inside out mystery packet it was a Winnie the Pooh. Which we actually already had however it was a great opportunity to explain to Little Miss that’s just how these things worked and she seemed to accept. It was a little unfortunate that across the two packets there were two Goofy’s in different sizes and two Pooh Bears but of course this is the luck of the draw.
I really like the Vinyl Tsum Tsums, I think the have a great likeness to the characters and the paint work seems to remain intact no matter how much Little Miss plays with them which is an improvement on the squishy Tsum Tsums that were popular in the UK last year. I would much rather let Little Miss collect these vinyl ones from Jakks Pacific as they’re much better value for money and seem to last so much longer.
