An Essay on Why I Don’t Like Gilmore Girls (sorry)
So this past week the internet has been a buzz with the Netflix exclusive Gilmore Girls; A Year in the Life. A four episode revival after a 9 year break. Before I start I just want to say I have watched the show and the revival, I’m not hating on a show I haven’t seen. Over the summer the other half and I watched all 6 movies from Peter Jackson’s Middle Earth universe. We watched the three movies based on The Hobbit together and three movies based on The Lord of the Rings while texting each other. It was definitely one of the things that really made me realise how happy I was with my bf, he enjoyed all the geeky things I had to add from reading the books. Although I do love the books more, the movies are enjoyable and definitely a cinematic masterpiece in terms of the cinematography, they’re just beautiful. I saw all 6 of them on the big screen and…

10 Easy Ways to Save Money*
Tomorrow is November, which brings us into what I find the two most expensive months of the year, the run up to Christmas (then I also have Little Miss’ birthday in January!) like the Asda advert constantly reminds us “every little helps” and with Christmas in mind, this is so true. I have to admit, I’m pretty terrible at saving money unless I have a deadline in mind like paying off a holiday. So here are 10 easy ways I use to save money. 1. Check that you’re paying the correct amount for gas & electricity using a website like Compare the Market. Sometimes there are even bonuses available if…
