My Bathtime Routine*
I have to admit, my favourite nights of the week are the ones I have time to take a bath. So when Victoria Plumb sent me a basket of goodies to help make “me time” more relaxing, I was really looking forward to that night of the week where my schedule was clear and LM was in bed bang on 7pm. Today I thought I’d share with you my bathtime routine, because it really is one of the few parts of my life I have a dedicated routine for and I ensure I make time for it at least once a week. My bathtime routine is actually two parts, the…

Outfit of the Day – Second Star to the Right
Princess Quotes Scarf (unknown as it’s discontinued), Hot Topic Miss Selfridge Leather Jacket* £35, Vinted Aqua Lace Structured Dress* £28, Believing is Just the Beginning necklace £45, Disney Couture White Frill Socks £1.99, Primark Cut Out Heeled Boots (traded for), Vinted Cat Face Bag £4.99, PrimarkI have two points to make, firstly, ignore my kitchen, I’m in the process of preparing the place for decorating which means scrubbing at the damp around the window and in the skirting board. Secondly, it’s been a while since I’ve posted an outfit post, mainly because I have been having some self esteem issues in regards to my body. I’ve felt really ugly and…

Hair Care Tips for the Summer
LINKS REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER FOR SALE I have made no secret of the fact that while I was in Florida I messed my hair up. For starters, my hair isn’t in the best of conditions due to the fact it’s now so long it requires two boxes of dye. While one usually leaves your hair lovely and glossy, the second sort of makes it feel like a birds nest. Add this will a Florida heatwave and an idiot who didn’t bring a hat and you have hay. Yes, hay. It’s taken me almost two months to resurrect my hair and for the time being I’ve returned to only…

I got my first tattoo, we saw two movies at the cinema, Tomorrowland and…

Insta-Month April
Like with my Insta-Month August of last year, I’m going to simply focus on the one thing that took up most of the month, our trip to Florida, I apologise if you’re sick of it, but I’m totally not. Instead of my usual who, where, what, why type round up, instead I’m going to share 9 of my favourite moments from our trip and although I could pick the 10 times LM went to meet Peter Pan because every time was perfect, I promise I’ve picked out some other ones too. They’re in no particular order because every moment was magical. Meeting Peter Pan for the First Time. It was…

Where Amy Ate – The Great British Cupcakery
If there is one place in Newcastle that I always recommend people try if they’re visiting it’s The Great British Cupcakery on the Quayside. The Quayside in Newcastle upon Tyne will always hold a special place in my heart having worked there while living in the city, but The Great British Cupcakery always stands out as the must place to visit. I was lucky enough to attend it’s opening almost two years ago and it was a great night. Since then I’ve made a point of visiting whenever i’ve been passing that way, sometimes to sit in and sometimes simply buying a goody to eat on the go. They always…
