Christmas 2017 – Gift Guide for Women*
ALL LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER FOR SALE.
It’s here, the biggest shopping week of the year and to celebrate I’m sharing my gift guides for Christmas 2017. This year I’ve worked so hard on my gift guides, I’ve pitched and sourced each item and I personally feel I’ve put together something great. I’ll be doing a gift guide for women (this one), gift guide for men, gift guide for kids (it’s extensive!) and finally a beauty gift guide. I’d like to think I’ve picked up pieces not just from the high street but also from smaller online shops so hopefully there is something for all budgets. I’ve also been working hard on my flat lays as they seem to be a blogger staple yet I can never get mine right.
Today, as I mentioned above, I’m sharing my gift guide for women.
Mclaggen Smith Personalised Mug – RRP £14.50*
A personalised mug is such a “British” gift, and is perfect for all types of occasions for example end of the school year for a special teacher, Mother’s Day, birthdays or just to say thank you. Personally I think they’re great to give at Christmas as there is nothing better than a hot drink in the cold weather. Mclaggen Smith have every mug design imaginable that you can personalise any way you see fit, they also have something for all budgets, from designer and bespoke, to something a little simpler.
Monsoon Home Diffuser – RRP £17.00*
I didn’t want this gift guide to be a cliché, so rather than suggesting a candle, because candles do make great gifts, why not go with a reed diffuser instead? Both my mum & I discovered the benefit of them this year. They give off a great scent like a candle would without having the open flame. They are perfect for anyone who isn’t keen on having a lit candle around for fear of a small child touching or it being left unattended.
Chambord – RRP £6.00*
Alcohol is one of the best gifts you can give during the holidays, especially if you’re not sure what to give. And the beautifully boxed Chambord is not only a useful gift but also a cost effective one. Chambord is a black raspberry liqueur that can be added to fizz to make a Chambord royal. Not only does it sweeten up the bubbly if you’re not a fan of the dry taste, but it’s a really simple cocktail to make if you’re having people over.
Wilde Like Me by Louise Pentland – RRP £4.99
One of my favourite reads from 2017 and I’ll definitely be recommending it to anyone who is after a good chick book this Christmas. Such a warm tale of the trials of navigating life as a single parent. I identified so much with Robin Wilde and I felt like Louise put a lot of heart into writing this. It’s well priced and the hard back copy would make a wonderful gift.
Filofax Saffiano Personal Organiser – RRP £29.90*
There is something about Christmas and new notebooks, diaries and organisers that just go hand in hand. It must be the promise of a new year and getting organised, along with keeping track of those resolutions. This is why a Filofax makes such a perfect gift. They come in gorgeous colours and you can even get accessories to go with them. They’re definitely an investment item and I adore mine that I picked up a few years back.
Worther Shorty Soft Grip Ball Point Pen in Violet – RRP £10*
If you’re gifting someone a Filofax or a new diary, a nice gift that goes well with it is of course a good pen. The Worther Shorty is a sturdy but functional pen that is comfortable to write with, perfect for making notes with. It comes in a range of colours as well as a pencil version.
Guylian Temptations – RRP £10*
Guylian chocolates always make me think of Christmas and I think it’s due to the exquisite design of the packaging and taste of the chocolate, they’re definitely a family favourite in our house. The Guylian Temptations come in a 522g bag which is perfect for sharing and are available in six flavours latte macchiato, hazelnut praline, dark praline, soft caramel, milk truffle and crunchy biscuit all individually wrapped.
Although personally I’d just like a bag of Disney goodies for Christmas, I know not all women are the same. I really hope this gift guide will inspire you on what to get your favourite ladies in your life.
Stay tuned for my next three gift guides coming up this week.
