La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo [+] Review
Warning, I am about to metaphorically shit all over a blogger favourite. This is sadly going to be my first negative(ish) review. But I want to first say that just because this product hasn’t worked for me, doesn’t mean it won’t work for you, always do your research before investing in a product but I do want to share my experience with La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo [+]. La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo [+] RRP £15.50, Boots A little while back I asked during one of the #bbloggers chats for a good product to help with my break outs and half a dozen people came back to me praising…

The Body Shop Coconut Body Scrub Review
A few weeks ago I was asked if I’d like to review a product from The Body Shop. I jumped at the chance as I’m sure by now you know I’m a fan of their products, in particular the body butters (but then again, who isn’t?!) The product I received was the Coconut Body Scrub* which I was pretty pleased with. I’ve only just started to use coconut products again after years of abstinence due to drinking too much Malibu in my teens, the smell made me queasy. That was until I started to use the moisturising Herbal Essence shampoo and conditioner, the one in the blue bottle. It smells…

Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream Review
I am so tired tonight as I really struggled to sleep last night for one reason or another, but as usual I still felt the need to blog. I don’t know how many of you saw my Biotherm Blue Therapy Serum-In-Oil review the other day, but I mentioned that it wasn’t solely responsible for my skins dramatic improvement and by dramatic improvement I don’t mean spots, I mean the fact I no longer look like a member of the cast of The Walking Dead. Tonight I’m reviewing the other product that I now can no longer live without, Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective cream* Since my Kiehl’s skincare consultation at the Nottingham…

#218 Biotherm Blue Therapy Night Serum-In-Oil Review
These days I feel there is so much more emphasis on using anti aging products from a young age but I have to admit I never even considered it until I started blogging last year. I think the main reason for this is because my mum doesn’t, she swears only by Nivea Soft and Johnsons Clean & Clear. That is the extend of her beauty regime and I have to admit, she doesn’t look bad for 52. Unfortunately, since becoming a single parent, or simply a parent, I have noticed that I look tired all the time, actually the only word to describe how I look when I don’t have…

#163 Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser Review
This is the first of two posts today as for the whole of this month I’ve been very slack in blogging. It’s not because I don’t want to or don’t have thins to blog about, it’s just the fact I’m tired. Usually the only time in the day I have to blog is in the evening and by that time the thought of thinking of something witty and interesting does not appeal. I’m going to try and make more of an effort to blog during the day when Little Miss is asleep because I do miss it. Today I’m sharing with you the current cleanser I’m using because it has…

#154 Granny Sally’s Soap Kitchen Products Review
Tonight i’m reviewing some products by what I can only describe as one of my favourite beauty brand finds of 2013. I had heard a few people rave about Granny Sally’s Soap Kitchen so when I received my Birmingham Blogger Meet goodie bag I was over joyed to find some samples in here and I gave using them priority status simply after the first sniff. I had taken my own photos of the products but in typical Amy style, I’ve miss placed them. I headed straight to twitter to have a bit of a moan about it as I really wanted to review them and Granny Sally’s were kind enough…
