Why I Have The Best Job in the World*
Being a parent is one of the hardest jobs in the world. It is amazing, though and I wouldn’t change life as it is now. I think if you asked any group of mums, they would tell you just how rewarding it is. I think of the best reasons is that you are your child’s favourite person in the world. You are the person that they call out for when they are ill and want to have a cuddle with when they fall over. For me, that is one of the most magical things about it. There are plenty of other things too. Here are some of my thoughts on…

#NationalTeaDay Jakks Disney Toddler Dolls Tea Party Review
Happy Birthday Ma’am! The Queen of England is 90 years old today and in celebration of her birthday and all things British it’s also National Tea Day! I have an awful confession to make, but I really hated tea until I had Little Miss at 24! It’s all they gave you in the hospital so I ended up liking it and now I have at least one cup a day. Of course I had my cup this morning, but since LM isn’t up to the tea drinking stage yet, we had a tea party this morning instead with her new Disney Toddler Dolls. We were kindly sent three of the…

What Happens If Your Child Doesn’t Get Their Preferred School?*
In September Little Miss will be starting school full time. For any parent this is a stressful time, the thought of their baby heading off to school, all dressed in a uniform for over 6 hours a day, I know I’m dreading it already. I received my email around 6am so it was there waiting for me when I awoke, and thankfully my little girl got into ours. But this wasn’t the case for everyone and I can’t imagine how much heart ache that brought to some families…

Remember that time my 4 year old ate everything I put in front of her? No.. me either. That hasn’t happened since she learnt how to say no! Don’t get me wrong, her diet isn’t all junk food, in fact she eats more fruit a day than I do, she just has what I’d call a limited diet. I call it a limited diet because she likes the same few meals on rotation and is wary about trying anything new. It’s so frustrating for someone like me who wants to experiment in the kitchen. However, while in Florida one of my mum friends Emily had a bit of a breakthrough.…

Happy Birthday Disneyland Paris – Our DLP Story
Today is Disneyland Paris’ birthday! Twenty four years ago today the park opened it’s gates for the first time. Back then it was a single park and went by the name of Euro Disney, to this day my dad still calls it this haha. Despite this park being closest to England, I have never felt it to be my “home” park, but with each visit I feel like I’m falling in love with it a little bit more. In celebration of it’s birthday today I’m sharing our Disneyland Paris story. As I mentioned above, Disneyland Paris has never felt like my “home” park, for me that will always be Magic…
