#ChristmasJumperDay 2013
If you’re not feeling remotely festive yet, I’d probably question your mentality slightly. This is my second Christmas as a mother though and I can no longer remember what it’s like to work right through December and not have Santa on the TV screen from the 1st November. Not that I mind. I’ve always enjoyed Christmas up until three years ago.. then I was ill.. followed by being pregnant and living with the worst person in the world and then last year, single mother with an under one year old.. HOWEVER, finally I feel like I’m getting back into my past festive ways. Tree up on the 25th November, Christmas…

Insta-Month November
The highlights were… Spending time with friends, I had one friend to stay with me Monday – Thursday at the start of the month, we had a lovely day in Newcastle with Little Miss. Then I met another couple of friends who were visiting from Canada, we had a great day in York and Little Miss was so well behaved even if it was insanely exhausting. Seeing Catching Fire with my sister, it was such a nice treat as neither of us get to go to the cinema much. Spending the day with my Dad, sister and nephew while my mum went on the drink in Edinburgh with her friends.…

A Taste of Transylville Terror Murder Mystery
So I came back from Paris on Halloween and only had the effort (after taking Little Miss trick or treating around my aunt’s & grandparents houses) to order chinese take out and watch Hocus Pocus followed by The Nightmare Before Christmas. But last Saturday my best friend Bee, threw one of her now famous Murder Mystery parties, Halloween themed but also for our friend Jon’s birthday. It was our fourth this year, however I didn’t manage to write about the previous one which happened to be my favourite! This was because I didn’t take any photos, bit sad about it really! We have a final two already lined up for…

A Chillaxed Night In with Goodfellas *
For me, Friday was incredibly stressful. Despite not leaving the country until Monday, Friday had that day before going away feel. I had a lot of work stuff to do, as well as my own blog maintenance, packing, cleaning as well as entertaining Little Miss. I had set aside the whole day up until Little Miss’ bedtime at 7pm for all of that stuff. I’ve already been struggling to sleep so I didn’t want to be rushing around right up to my bedtime because I knew that my brain would still be making lists until past 4am, which would suck when I had to be up the house by 9am.…

#224 Town Mouse Vs City Mouse
Credit It’s now been well over a year since I moved back to my hometown. And I know you’re not supposed to slate where you come from, but as i’ve mentioned before, I just don’t belong here and I have more reasons why I don’t enjoy living here than why I do. I’ve been really down lately, which I think is one of the things causing me not to sleep because I’ve been missing my three best friends. I hate having to turn down plans because I can’t get an overnight babysitter, or even just a day babysitter. As much as I love my family, it’s so dull only having…
