Outfit of the Day – The Girl at the Rock Show
Firstly, I am well aware that my festival fashion inspired post isn’t something you’d wear to a “rock show” in fact my usual rock show attire consisted of a tank top, tutu skirt and high tops! However this is the only song I could think of off the top of my head that reminded me of festivals. Maybe because one of the lines is “I couldn’t wait for the summer and the Warped Tour” and the Warped Tour is the only festival I’d now want to go to. When I used to go to festivals there wasn’t such a thing as “festival chic” everyone looked grubby together, everyone went the…

Outfit of the Day – Exploring Sammydress.com
LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER AVAILABLE If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, or following me on Twitter, you’ll know since the turn of the year I have been on the hunt for the perfect black tulle skirt. Well a few weeks back, I found it. And of is she perfect! I have the wonderful people at Sammydress to thank for it. They emailed offering me the chance to become one of their I-Try Program and to kick it all off I got to choose something to review from a select range of item. As soon as I saw this beautiful black tulle skirt, I…

Outfit of the Day – On Wednesdays We Wear Pink
Although I’ve already blogged today, I have been planning an outfit for weeks especially for this day. Today is 10 years since Mean Girls was first released, and since Mean Girls wear pink on a Wednesday, my Twitter and Instagram feeds have been filled with photos of people wearing pink. Of course I’m not exception. I had originally ordered one of Jojo’s t-shirts but I left it late and it hasn’t arrived in time. It will still get a lot of wear and it’s actually not pink, it’s white. I did have a moments panic last night because I didn’t even think Little Miss and I owned anything pink, but…

Outfit of the Day – #EatSleepBlogRepeat
Today I’ve been to The Land of the Geordies for a blog meet with the most wonderful of names #EatSleepBlogRepeat. It was organised by the truly lovely Paul who runs the blog Taste of the North and he was a very gracious host. I have to admit that I was pretty damn excited since I haven’t made it to any blogger events so far this year due to my parents being unable to babysit or having something else on that day. I was also nervous, as I always am, especially when it came to walking in myself. However I recognised Kloe of Skulls & Kisses almost straight away and she…

Outfit of the Day – Vinted Girl
I really hope everyone has had a lovely Easter Weekend! On the whole, I have, apart from the fact Little Miss is going through the clingiest phase ever! As I write this it’s sunny and mild so I have the back door open, her table out with her dinner on and all her toys, yet she’s currently sat on my feet right outside the door. Little Miss hasn’t had a clingy phase since she had just turned one, a year of independence has actually been bliss and now i’m taking badly to her climbing up my legs constantly and crying at the drop of the hat. Sigh. I got through…

Outfit of the Day – Short Skirt and a Long Jacket
I’m super exhausted today since my mum thought it would be a good idea to paint pace eggs in the garden, queue two children (and my mother) with paint in their hair and a whole load of mess. Because of this I’m just giving you what I know you allllllll want, another outfit post! The title of this post is inspired by the Cake song Short Skirt/Long Jacket because the skirt on my dress is shorter than I’d ever usual wear. Good job it has a pretty collar! Also, I apologise for my gammy eyes, this was taken just as my hayfever started to take over. Boo hiss. Grey…
