Hey Happiness Review
With Christmas shopping on a lot of peoples minds at this time of year I try to shop around and support smaller brands when it comes to the gifts I buy. One such brand I have recently come across is Happiness Boutique and I’ve been lucky enough to receive a couple of pieces from them to really see what their service is like, especially being a company that isn’t based in England.
In case you haven’t heard of Happiness Boutique, they’re a fashion jewellery brand based in Berlin. They pride themselves on being a happy soulful brand bringing you statement pieces with real meaning behind them. They wanted accessories that not only made women look good, but feel good which in this day and age is so important and one of the main reasons I wanted to get behind this brand.
Statement isn’t usually my sort of jewellery, but after having a look through their expansive back catalogue there were some really gorgeous simple pieces that definitely appealed to me. I was lucky enough to receive one statement eye catching piece, perfect for the party season that’s coming up and one more simple piece that is definitely my style.
First thing that should be noted is that although Happiness Boutique is based in Germany they offer free world wide shipping and a 60 day returns policy. For me, this gets a huge thumbs up. I’m always so wary about ordering from abroad in case it warrants expensive shipping and then there is the problem of returning, 14 days which is usually the standard return time isn’t good when the item is going over seas but with this you know it will be returned in time and you will be able to get your money back. I should also note that even with the free shipping, my order arrived in less than a week. I was so impressed an surprised when it arrived.
It came in a box in a well padded envelope. Inside the box both items were individually wrapped in bubble wrap to ensure they didn’t end up broken or tangled in transit. These were neatly surrounded in tissue paper with a business card and could of quite easily been given as a gift instantly without the need for further wrapping. Perfect if that’s the one thing you aren’t keen on when it comes to gift giving.
My second piece is something I would be more likely to wear every day, it’s simple but incredibly pretty and it’s in the bloggers favourite, rose gold. The Three Hearts Necklace is a truly delicate piece, three small hearts linked on a thin rose gold chain that hangs between your collar bones, classy is the word that springs to mind. For an online boutique that claims to be about fashion jewellery this does not feel like your usual fashion jewellery bit. If my boyfriend got me this as a gift, I would be overjoyed, the hearts definitely have the connotations of romance but even as a gift for myself, I love it. It definitely looks like it’s worth more than it’s £20 price tag.
If you’re looking for some unique pieces as gifts this Christmas or even just to finish off your party outfit this season I cannot recommend Happiness Boutique enough, their service, products and message are exactly the sort of thing you want to see when you’re buying for a small business instead of throwing your money at Topshop.
