What We Did for Easter 2017
I can’t believe that’s Easter over with, the next time a term ends LM will have finished her first year at school! The Easter holidays seemed to last forever, probably because we managed to cram so much into two weeks, including LM having the dreaded chicken pox for 7 of those days (technically 9 as she had two days without spots). Now she’s been back a day the holidays feel like they never happened. Crazy huh? Hello Five!
On Saturday Little Miss turned five! I’m not sure why but five seems a lot older than four! Maybe it’s because she’s at school now, or has almost lost her third tooth, or just the fact she really is no longer a baby. She is starting to read and write and is completely independent as far as dressing and undressing herself, brushing her hair, teeth and feeding herself. She really is a big girl now. Unlike last year I didn’t find done to do a pre-birthday photo shoot and put together a post because she was at school and then in the evening I had a cake and balloon disaster…

Christmas Day 2015
I’m sitting her still in shock that Christmas has been and gone for another year! All that planning and pre goes into one day, in what my mum claims to be the fastest day of the year, and I completely agree. I’d say I’m still recovering! My lounge looks like the Disney Store threw up in it but Little Miss is happily playing with her Doc Mobile Clinic and her Merida Bow & Arrows set as I write this. Our Summer Bucket List*
Today is the first day of the six weeks summer holidays. I have been both dreading and feeling incredibly excited about this holiday. It’s LM’s first time ever being off for the whole lot since the past two years we’ve paid for her to attend pre-school but now because she’s on funding she doesn’t get anything towards her time there. The first two weeks are especially daunting because my parents are out of the country and I rely on my mum a lot, even just for adult company.
