#91 Miss Geekay Jewellery Review
A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by the lovely Gillian of Miss Geekay Jewellery. We exchanged a few emails back and forth as she introduced her new online shop. After checking it out for myself, I instantly fell in love with some of her pieces, which she tells me are inspired by the high street & magazines. The best part of all? Everything is less than £5! I was lucky enough to be sent a couple of my favourite pieces. The items arrived beautifully wrapped with a cute personalised tag. I’m a real sucker when companies make things personal! Anyway, I’d mentioned to Gillian how much I adored…

#90 Wish You Were Here – Bettys of York
The other day on my way back up north I had a long stop in York due to the snow. I was booked on a particular train that ended up being over two hours delayed. It was freezing! However, for once I was traveling on my own, Little Miss free, so I decided to head into the city centre armed with my camera. It was really early meaning I also had to find somewhere for breakfast. I didn’t want to go too far away from the station so after walking for less than five minutes I found myself outside Bettys. I’ve always wanted to go in but the company I’ve…

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern Review
The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des Rêves, and it is only open at night. But behind the scenes, a fierce competition is underway—a duel between two young magicians, Celia and Marco, who have been trained since childhood expressly for this purpose by their mercurial instructors. Unbeknownst to them, this is a game in which only one can be left standing, and the circus is but the stage for a remarkable battle of imagination and will. Despite themselves,…

#86 Lush Cupcake Fresh Face Mask Review
As I’ve mentioned already, I got a lot of Lush stuff for my birthday from both Little Miss & a few of my friends. This is probably because i’ve made it clear on so many occasions that Lush is one of my favourite brands. I mainly got items for the bath such as bombs, bubble bars & a few melts which is great as taking a bath is one of the only ways I can chill out these days. However, in one of my parcels was this Cupcake Fresh Face Mask (RRP £5.95). Although I’d never tried it, I’m no stranger to it as I always have a sniff when…

Weekly Wardrobe – Polka Dots & Bow Ties
My Weekly Wardrobe is back! I’m going to alternate every Friday between this and The Friday Five. I have finally found somewhere to take photos in good light, my garden. Ha. Thankfully next door we have a 97 year old house bound lady so there is no issue in her walking out and catching me! I still haven’t got the settings right on my camera or where to stand or what face to pull or how to pose. I’m not a model, nor do I ever wish or want to be a model. So I apologise for the silly face & funny poses. But here is what I’ve been wearing…
