A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by the lovely Gillian of
Miss Geekay Jewellery. We exchanged a few emails back and forth as she introduced her new online shop. After checking it out for myself, I instantly fell in love with some of her pieces, which she tells me are inspired by the high street & magazines. The best part of all? Everything is less than £5! I was lucky enough to be sent a couple of my favourite pieces.
The items arrived beautifully wrapped with a cute personalised tag. I’m a real sucker when companies make things personal! Anyway, I’d mentioned to Gillian how much I adored her Dictionary range and she kindly sent me the Fate Necklace* & the Dream Cord Bracelet* two of my favourite pieces. I haven’t had the cord bracelet off since it arrived, it’s so easy to wear along with my other cord bracelets and it has nothing to catch on my daughter which is an important factor for me when choosing jewellery. The necklace has had so much attention as everyone wants to read what it says on it. I think they’re such a unique idea and there are loads of different words to choose from so there is something for everyone. Fate & Dream are words I associate closely with myself and my circumstances over the past few months.
I can’t recommend Miss Geekay enough. The pieces I received are so well put together and are such a good price. I already have my eye on a few more pieces I intend to purchase such as the
Silver Infinity Ring for a mere £2 & the
Black Typewriter Initial Necklace for £3.50. Delivery is £1.50 or free if you spend over £20. So even with delivery you’re still getting a bargain for such lovely pieces.
Gillian was so kind to have contacted me and I urge you all to follow the progress of this lovely new shop on twitter @
missgeekay. I’ve heard a little rumor that the dictionary cord bracelets are soon going to be available on a chain!
Let me know which pieces are your favourite!

I can’t get over how gorgeous these are!!! Oh my goodness, I’m such a sucker for little jewelry pieces like these and especially any with newspaper or dictionary writing since I think they give the piece such a nice vintage/reality feel. Super cute!! I love wearing cord bracelets as anklets so that’s probably what I would do. Gahh love these(:
