3 Ways to Keep Your Relationship Fresh During Lockdown*
For a lot of us, we’re now heading into the 8th week of lockdown. This has been telling on us all physically and mentally. I know I’m starting to struggle. I’ve eaten too much, I’m not sleeping well and i’m definitely not getting the exercise I should be. At the moment my main goal is to survive. As long as I come out of lockdown as mentally healthy as I can possibly I’ll see it as a win.
As lonely as I’ve been, I’m glad i’ve only had myself to worry about. I’m on my own and there are only two of us in the house and that’s enough. I feel like being in a relationship would be difficult especially if you’re not used to being together 24/7. So today I’m sharing some ways to keep your relationship fresh during the lockdown.
For those of us who are single and aren’t in a relationship, we’re craving social contact and we’re looking forward to finding some for the first time after lockdown. We can’t wait to use a local site like www.wiltshiresexsite.co.uk for that very first hook up. It’s going to be great! If you haven’t tried a local site, they have them for all places in the UK, such as sex in Guernsey. It won’t take you long to make that first connection post lockdown.
Anyway, here are 3 ways to keep a relationship fresh during lockdown;
Give Each Other Space
Yes, you might be tempted to be with each other constantly when you’re confined to the house but giving each other space is just important. Set aside a certain time of day where you can be apart. One take the bedroom, one the lounge. Or maybe you could go for a long soak in the tub? Or sit outside with a book. Just as long as you get some time to yourself. When you come together again you’ll be happy to see each other. This will stop you getting snappy with one another.
Make Some Plans
One of my favourite parts of being in a relationship is making future plans and the lockdown is the most perfect time to do it. Make a relationship “bucket” list. This lockdown won’t last forever and it’ll give you both something to look forward to doing in the future. You could even write your ideas on small pieces of paper and put them all into a jar then once we are returning to normal you can start randomly selecting them.
Recreate Dates
Yes, we’re stuck in the house but you can still have date nights, in fact it can be a challenge to come up with date nights! The weather is so nice at the moment why not lie out and stargaze? Or you could order food from a local restaurant and set up a table like if you were out eating. Yes, no one is serving you and you have to wash up, but at least you aren’t cooking.. again. Or dim the lights and stick on a movie. You could even grab some popcorn while out doing your social distancing shopping!
Only you know what’s best for your relationship!
