Outfit of the Day – Birthday Girl

Twenty six years ago, at 3:17am weighing a tiny 5lbs 9.5oz and twelve days late, I was arrived. Today it’s my birthday and I’m not officially closer to thirty than to twenty which is a scary prospect. Compared to last year, 2014 is proving to be a more enjoyable year, and I really hope this continues now that i’m twenty six. I have been celebrating since last weekend when two of my best friends came to stay and we celebrated by hitting my hometown for drinks and the best steak of my life, but more on that next week. And yesterday my mum baked me a cake (see above) and I opened gifts and cards.
Today I’m heading off to my best friend Bee’s for a weekend of fun. I’m so excited! So this is why this post is incredibly short as I’m heading out to catch my train but first I wanted to share today’s outfit of the day.

Dress £8, Ever Ours
Black Tights £1.99, Primark
Brogues (ancient), Primark
Time Turner Necklace, Gift from Kariss
Red Satchel £7, Primark
Aurora Ring £6, Cheap Frills
Wrap Bracelet (ancient), Disney Couture

How beautiful is my dress? I’ve lusted after it for ages from one of my favourite online shops, Ever Ours. When I saw it was in the sale over the weekend I had to have it! I’m so pleased with the fit and it’s of really good quality material. I could spend a fortune on that website. Most of the rest of my wardrobe is Primark, I love this red satchel, I would love it in some other colours as it fits all my important things in. The necklace is something I have wanted for YEARS and Kariss finally bought it for my birthday, I’ve worn it every day since. It really goes lovely with my Cheap Frills Aurora ring which I reviewed back in January.
I haven’t scheduled anything for over the weekend, so see you all on Monday x
