Where Amy Ate – The City Cafe, Edinburgh
I can’t believe the last Where Amy Ate was my Paris Edition! That shows how little I have been eating out, or at least remembering to take photos when I eat out. With saving like mad so I have a good amount of spending money for my holidays, eating out is now limited to Cafe Nero or the cafe in Asda! And I’m pretty sure neither of them need to be reviewed. I love eating out too, but since i’m going to be eating abroad for 2 weeks of the year, I figured i’ll have lot of places to talk about then. Anyway, last month when the lovely Hayley of…

Outfit of the Day – Vinted Girl
I really hope everyone has had a lovely Easter Weekend! On the whole, I have, apart from the fact Little Miss is going through the clingiest phase ever! As I write this it’s sunny and mild so I have the back door open, her table out with her dinner on and all her toys, yet she’s currently sat on my feet right outside the door. Little Miss hasn’t had a clingy phase since she had just turned one, a year of independence has actually been bliss and now i’m taking badly to her climbing up my legs constantly and crying at the drop of the hat. Sigh. I got through…

The Tale of the Little Easter Bunny
This week my nephew decided to take it upon himself to make Easter a person, much like Santa Claus. Both he and Little Miss have been telling everyone that “Easter is coming with eggs” so I decided to take it upon myself to make Easter into a person for Little Miss. I’m not religious but due to having a Catholic upbringing I do observe the holidays. Our household is very much an agnostic apathetic area and I do intend to bring my daughter up that way. Christmas is about family and Easter is.. about chocolate of course! At Christmas, Santa Claus is the bringer of goodies, at Easter it’s… you…

Ways I Know I’m Growing Up
Since turning twenty six last month, I’ve started to notice that I’m doing things that make me feel and think like a grown up. I know as women get older they’re supposed to turn into their mothers, I already notice my own mum turning into my Nanny, in fact all her sisters are turning into my Nanny.. but these things aren’t all exactly things that I know my mum does, they’re just trains of thought and behavioral habits that remind me that I’m now entering my late twenties and my teenage years are long behind me. I thought i’d share them on my blog today. Sleep Routine In the past…

Outfit of the Day – Short Skirt and a Long Jacket
I’m super exhausted today since my mum thought it would be a good idea to paint pace eggs in the garden, queue two children (and my mother) with paint in their hair and a whole load of mess. Because of this I’m just giving you what I know you allllllll want, another outfit post! The title of this post is inspired by the Cake song Short Skirt/Long Jacket because the skirt on my dress is shorter than I’d ever usual wear. Good job it has a pretty collar! Also, I apologise for my gammy eyes, this was taken just as my hayfever started to take over. Boo hiss. Grey…

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo [+] Review
Warning, I am about to metaphorically shit all over a blogger favourite. This is sadly going to be my first negative(ish) review. But I want to first say that just because this product hasn’t worked for me, doesn’t mean it won’t work for you, always do your research before investing in a product but I do want to share my experience with La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo [+]. La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo [+] RRP £15.50, Boots A little while back I asked during one of the #bbloggers chats for a good product to help with my break outs and half a dozen people came back to me praising…
