What Little Miss Read & World Book Day 2016

    March 5, 2016 /

On Thursday it was World Book Day. As a kid, World Book Day was always one of my favourite days of the year because not only could we go to school dressed as our favourite book character (and back then no one went in store bought costumes) but you also got a £1 book token and at that age, that was a lot! And now it’s Little Miss’ turn to take part. In the “baby” room they just have to take their favourite book, but in the bigger room they got to dress up as their favourite character, just like I used to! So, in the back of my mind…

    Disney Confessions Part One

    March 4, 2016 /

The current topic of post doing the rounds at the moment among Disney bloggers is about Disney confessions. It appears Sarah started it back in November but both Jane and Sam did there own last month which made me want to share mine. I know it was of my era, it was released in 1995 when I was 7 years old but I don’t know if it was because it was the Frozen of it’s time and the…

Walt Disney World – Birthday Bucket List

    March 3, 2016 /

This year I get to spend my birthday in Walt Disney World and I couldn’t be more excited about it. It’s a complete dream come true and something I have wanted to do since I was a small child! As I mentioned last month in my birthday wishlist post, I wanted to do a bucket list of all the things I’d like to do on my birthday. Usually while at a Disney park I do all the things that will keep LM happy. She’s the one meeting the characters, we eat where she will be happiest and go on the rides she enjoys. Occasionally one of my friends will have…

Different Ways to Make Your Party Unique*

    March 2, 2016 /

When it comes to anything in my life I have to always to try and go down the route of interesting and unusual. It doesn’t matter what it is, be it what outfits LM wears, or how I decorate my house, just anything really but today I’m talking about how to make a party you’re throwing unique in five different ways. Give it a Costume Theme People don’t bother with this these days and it makes me sad! Some of the best parties I’ve been to have had a costume theme, granted a lot of them were university parties and I was very drunk but it did make for some…
