Most well-known because of TV series Friends, Central Park is a must-see if you go to New York. The park is 843 acres so you can’t walk around it all in one day. A lot of people hire bikes or pay for a horse and carriage ride so they can go round the whole thing. There is so much to stop and see including a playground, a zoo and a tonne of famous statues.

A lot of people visit New York because of the amazing Times Square, which is home to the largest shops in the world including department store Macy’s. It’s the shopping capital of the world, and there is so much to see and do. There are restaurants everywhere selling delicious delights They tend to have events on all year round, so make sure to check it out before you go. It’s worth going to Times Square at night to see all the beautiful lights, but be prepared; it does get very busy!

Other areas which may be of interest to you include Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street and the moving Ground Zero. Remember to plan in advance, so you get to see everything!
