    January 29, 2017 /

This is a sponsored post but all opinions expressed are my own. With having such a popular Instagram account we do often get questions about how I can afford it as a single mum. And the truth is, with a lot of budgeting! I love to travel, I have always had itchy feet and nothing gets me more excited than planning an adventure for Little Miss and I, be it to Disney or else where. Our next trip is a weekend to London at the end of March and i’m so excited to get planning child friendly activities. This will be Little Miss’ first ever trip to London that isn’t…

Keeping Your Feline Friend Healthy This Winter*

    January 27, 2017 /

Cats rely on us for the food and shelter that they need to remain fit and healthy all year round, this is especially important if your cat is an outdoor cat. This is especially true in the winter — the most trying of all seasons for a cat to be outside.Thankfully my cat isn’t one of those. She’s indoors and pampered to death but it doesn’t mean it’s any less important for me to make sure she’s getting the right care. This short guide will help you understand the best types of food, and what to avoid, for your cat to thrive and receive the best possible nutrients this winter. Meat…

Beating the January Blues with a Perfect Spa Day*

    January 25, 2017 /

I really really struggle with January, not only is it a long depressing month where it’s really cold and money is tight but everyone is feeling flat after Christmas. I also struggle with anxiety at the start of the year which I blogged about as the next 12 months feel daunting. I know I shouldn’t hate January as much as I do because Little Miss has her birthday but still, it doesn’t stop how I feel both mentally and physically the other 30 days of the month! This year we got lucky and headed off to Disneyland Paris for 3 days, but now that I’m back I feel flatter than…

    Christmas Day 2016

    January 11, 2017 /

Even though it’s been over 2 weeks since the big day, I still feel like I should put together a post about our Christmas Day. Of course the Christmas season was completely different to the one I’d imagined earlier on in the year and sadly now it’ll forever live in shadow of a break up. But we did the best we could with what we had and I know by putting on a brave face Little Miss had a wonderful day. She was completely spoilt as usual but she was very grateful and even announced “My mummy is very kind” to my sister and nephew. I possibly shed a tear…

Things I’m Looking Forward to Doing in Disneyland Paris, January 2017

    January 10, 2017 /

What.. another Disney trip? Yes, 10 days today we’ll hopefully be less than an hour from arriving in Disneyland Paris. Due to money constraints 2017 is going to be the year of Disneyland Paris. We have no Walt Disney World trips booked (I know, I know) but right now I have 2 trips to Disneyland Paris booked and paid for and a further 2 or 3 on the cards, one hopefully with LM’s friend Bella as her family are planning on visiting from the States around about June! Thankfully aside from Bella’s family, two more of our friends will be visiting the UK during the year so we will have…
