#FriendshipGrows, A Celebration of Friendship with Chisholm Hunter
Last week I was sent this wonderful box of goodies by Chisholm Hunter as part of their #FriendshipsGrows campaign. This campaign celebrates friendships that have blossomed through blogging and the stories that go along with them. I’m very grateful I have been lucky enough to make a lot of fantastic friends through blogging who have helped me through the darkest of times. But as ever, I wanted to put my spin on this.. I wanted to talk about how blogging has helped me keep up to date with my most important friend, Bee of Journeys are my Diary. The hardest part of deciding to move back home was knowing that…

National Best Friends Day
My “to write” posts are really getting on top of me at the moment, so expect a couple of days next week to have two! However ever today, since it’s National Best Friends day, I had to bring you all another post about my wonderful friends, in particular, my best friends. I know I’ve wrote a few posts about my best friends, or at least, I’ve included them in a lot of my more personal posts, but sometimes just feel like I need to give them a shout out for being so awesome. Originally Bee and I were going to do a guest post swap, but I completely forgot today…

Advice for my Daughter, Part 1
I mentioned in my last post that I have been part of a conversation with another eight girls for over three weeks now. We have chatted on going, popping in when we can and it’s been a complete rollercoaster of emotions as we share stories about life, love, sex, relationships, work and fan girled out about a range of subjects. Some of you may caught some of it on Twitter when we occasionally take our conversations public like our crazy game of Kiss, Marry, Kill with characters from Game of Thrones! Anyway, one particular evening some of the girls were telling me about dreadful stories and how they’d over come…

Death By Chocolate!
So today I have another installment of Bee’s fabulous Murder Mystery parties series for you guys! As you all know by now, my best friend Bee over at Journeys are my Diary, is the QUEEN of throwing parties, they’re turning into one of the highlights of my month. This month was of course, no exception although in the beginning I was worried I wouldn’t be able to afford to go! Thankfully I scraped the train fare together and headed down to visit her and her lovely family for a couple of days during the Easter holidays. On my first night she played wonderful host to our Easter themed Murder Mystery,…

Murder On Board The Titanic
This post is now a month in the making, I apologise Bee, it was one of my favourite nights of the year so far so it deserved to be blogged about sooner! Anyway, today’s post is mainly about food and fun. Eight courses worth of food and cake, the best birthday cake i’ve ever received in my life, and the person I have to thank for it all, is the best best friend a girl could want. If you don’t follow her blog Journeys Are My Diary yet, you bloody well should! So last month saw my twenty six birthday, and since my twenty fifth and twenty forth birthdays were…

Adventuring in Louth
The past three days I’ve been lucky enough to be in the company of my best friend Bee and her family. As my mother works in a school, unless I’m ill or have something important to do, she rarely has Little Miss for me, and she never had her over night, except when she’s on holiday which has been for the last week. So on Wednesday I caught the train down the country at 8:10am to make sure I made the most of the time I had. I arrived just before lunchtime and spent my first day catching up as I hadn’t seen Bee since a few days before Christmas.…
