#136 Hair Week Day 1 – Macadamia Natural Oil Haircare Review
Second post today, you’ll find there is a few days this week where there will be two posts. I really hope you don’t all want to kill me after this week but I just want to fit everything in! Seven days is not enough! I’ll get on with it and make it quick, promise! My first hair product (or products as in this case) review of the week is of Macadamia Natural Oil Haircare. I’m sure by now most beauty bloggers if not all bloggers will have heard of Macadamia. I’ve been desperate to try some of their products for a while now so I’m sure you can imagine how…

My Hair Through The Years
It’s hair week here at Cocktails in Teacups! This week I’ll be bringing you hair related posts, well the hair on your head anyway. I figured it was a good theme because although I am rubbish at styling my hair, despite dying it monthly, my hair is in great condition and grows like wildfire, so I must know something, right? I have some product reviews, some information posts, DIY and finally some link ups to some of my favourite hair related posts on other blogs, so hopefully there is something for everyone.. I understand not everyone reads my blog for beauty but I really just want to book end all…

Recipe No.10 Pear & Prosciutto Salad
Firstly, after the dismal reaction to my Weekly Wardrobe this week, I’ve decided to drop it and just do odd outfits when I photograph them. I’ve had some tips as to take better photos so hopefully they’ll be improved when I do post them. Secondly, I think you should all give my bestie’s blog a follow. Journeys are my Diary. She’s been doing the #BEDM challenge and has really thrown herself into it. I have 250+ followers, and although I’m not sure everyone reads, I know at least some are into lifestyle which is what her blog is. Thirdly, this is a summer recipe. I prepped it when it looked…

North East Lush Event
As I’ve mentioned time and time again, Lush is one of my favourite brands for when it comes to bath products. I bought my first ever bath ballistic when I was 17, so for any of you interested, that is now 8 years ago! It was the infamous Fairy Jasmine (if you’re a fan of Ross Noble, you’ll know exactly why I’ve called in infamous!) Ever since, I’ve been hooked on their bath products and I always have a decent size supply stashed away. ANYWAY.. as soon as I heard there was going to be an event held at the Metro Centre branch of Lush, organised by Danny of Adventures…

#130 Matched by Ally Condie Review
Cassia has always trusted the Society to make the right choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to believe. So when Xander’s face appears on-screen at her Matching ceremony, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is her ideal mate… until she sees Ky Markham’s face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black. The Society tells her it’s a glitch, a rare malfunction, and that she should focus on the happy life she’s destined to lead with Xander. But Cassia can’t stop thinking about Ky, and as they slowly fall in love, Cassia begins to doubt the Society’s infallibility and is faced with an…

Where Amy Ate – Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Metro Centre
As most of you know, tonight is Game of Thrones night so I just don’t have time to do my lovely big ass post about yesterdays North East Lush Event (which was fantastic by the way, so stay tuned!) So instead I bring you two smaller posts. One is the second part in my Where Amy Ate (this one) and the other is a book I started yesterday and finished today. Neither require a lot of editing photos which for me is the most time consuming part of putting a post together. Before the North East Lush Event, a few of us bloggers decided to meet before hand and go…
