Neal & Wolf Summer Solstice Gift Set Review

    July 7, 2015 /

LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FROM SOURCE For well over two years now I have been a cheerleader for Neal & Wolf. Every since product I’ve ever tried has had me smitten. So obviously when I was offered a chance to review a new gift set, I was excited. Especially when it contained a new product, Control their flexible styling hairspray! The gift set in question is the Summer Solstice Trio* RRP £26, which contains not only Control, but Harmony the intensive care treatment (review here) and Ritual the daily cleansing shampoo (review here). The trio claims to “banish frizz this summer” something as always, I’m…

Looking After Your Wellbeing This Summer

    July 6, 2015 /

LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED FOR PRODUCTS NO LONGER ON SALE The summer is one of those “extreme” seasons, like Winter.. with Spring and Autumn acting as in between seasons. I think I feel this way with living in the UK, Autumn and Spring are very samey where as Summer and Winter are two opposites. In Winter you make sure you’re prepared with warm clothes, thick moisturiser and lip balm to protect against the harsh elements where as summer there are different sorts of precautions you have to take to ensure you and your family stay well in the sun. First up, there is ensuring you have the right clothing. Hats…

Harajuku Lovers Fragrance Pop Electric G Review

    July 4, 2015 /

Harajuku Lovers Pop Electric G Fragrance 30ml* RRP £24.95, Debenhams I have said many times before, but on the whole I’m very loyal to the Marc Jacob’s range of perfumes, however I’m always open to trying something new, especially at the start of a new season when I’m on the hunt for that “signature scent”. Back in my late teens, I had a lovely collection of Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Lovers collection of perfumes, mainly because the cute little figures on the top of the bottle appealed. I wouldn’t say I out grew them, but once they were empty, my then boyfriend started replacing them with bottles of Daisy and Lola.…

10 Must Do Things at Magic Kingdom (5 Fast Pass, 5 Non Fast Pass)

    July 3, 2015 /

With the weather being so nice this week it’s inevitable I’ve been thinking forward to our trip to Florida in September. Although we’re not far off the 60 day mark when we would normally be able to book of fast passes, due to staying off site this time we can’t book them until 30 days out. This doesn’t matter hugely as our friends we’ll be staying with and seeing are annual pass holders and they also only have the ability to book 30 days ahead. But of course this doesn’t stop me making lists what what I do and don’t want to see and do. You may remember my bucket…

My Favourite Piece of Home Tech*

    June 29, 2015 /

I don’t know if it’s the love of Disney ingrained into me but whenever I hear “tech” these days I instantly think of Big Hero 6 (if you haven’t seen it yet, you must see it!) So when I was asked what my favourite piece of home tech was by the people at Joe Blogs Network all I could think was “microbots” of course I don’t actually have any microbots in my home, but it did at least give me something to think about. Although I wouldn’t consider myself to be a “gadget girl” by any length, I do enjoy technology and it plays a big part in my life.…
