Guest Post // Red Elephant

Hi! I’m Tasha from Hello Freckles and the lovely Amy was very keen for me to guest post on her blog while she’s moving. I saw this dress and immediately knew I had to get it; I think there was something about the print and how cute the elephants were with their trunks interlaced. I was a little unsure about the cut out detail to the back at first but it’s grown on me now; it makes it a bit different to other skater dresses. 

Of course I have to pair it with my new favourite bag (sorry office city bag, there’s a new one in town) from Zara. I originally ordered it in brown and loved it so much I ordered it in black too. That’s allowed, right?! It’s a great size too. I took it away to Edinburgh with me recently and I’ve used it as an overnight bag when I’ve stopped at my boyfriend’s. Having a smaller bag really does teach you to pack light and only take what you really need (which for me isn’t a lot since I’m prone to leaving a load of makeup and clothes there anyway).

Usually I wouldn’t have my hair up but with it being warm lately, I just wanted something quick and simple to do to get it out of the way. My sunglasses are an essential item for the summer, not only so I’m not squinting at everything, but to be that extra barrier between my eyes and pollen, damn hayfever. That being said, I’m kinda hoping the weather will stay nice and warm so I’ve got more excuses to wear pretty dresses like this!
