The Geeky Side of Me
I’ve toyed with the idea of doing a blog post like this, but I haven’t had anything good enough to have as a focal point of it. I really enjoyed Kirsty’s blog post about her love for Doctor Who, and Rhiannon’s various geeky posts about playing Warcraft among other things. Although I’m not a fan of either, they were both brilliant reads. Anyway, I’m not a geek in the regular sense of the word, my geekiness mainly resolves around books, Disney, fairytales and fantasy. Included in the fantasy bracket is of course Harry Potter. I mean what fantasy fan doesn’t like Harry Potter? I have liked, no loved Harry Potter…

Outfit of the Day – You Look So Good in Blue
Kudos to you if you recognise the lyrics in the title! Now that I’ve discovered that my kitchen is the best place to take outfit posts, expect a lot more! It’s amazing how flattering good lighting can be! This post is slightly delayed as all the original photos were on my camera that I left on the train on Sunday. I’m still mourning the loss of my cat bag, Disney Couture Alice purse and the camera! All my photos from my weekend away were on it as well as my outfit photos! Absolutely devastated! But I only have myself to blame. Today’s outfit post is a little “much” for a…

Insta-Month November
The highlights were… Spending time with friends, I had one friend to stay with me Monday – Thursday at the start of the month, we had a lovely day in Newcastle with Little Miss. Then I met another couple of friends who were visiting from Canada, we had a great day in York and Little Miss was so well behaved even if it was insanely exhausting. Seeing Catching Fire with my sister, it was such a nice treat as neither of us get to go to the cinema much. Spending the day with my Dad, sister and nephew while my mum went on the drink in Edinburgh with her friends.…

Christmas Gift Guide – Ideas for Sisters *
ALL LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED DUE TO NO LONGER BEING FOR SALE So we’re now up to the third installment of my Christmas Gift Guide series. Tonight I’m going to share some ideas with you for sisters. Firstly, I should say that this is a gift guide for adult sisters. I’m making it with my younger sister in mind. She’s twenty three. There are two years, four months and one day between us but she acts and looks older than I am. She has her own house and car, a great job as a dental nurse and she lives with her boyfriend and two year old son. We are so…

Happy Friday Guys! Sorry there isn’t a reads for the weekend today but due to being in bed ill for the best part of the week (aka last weekend) I didn’t get a chance to keep track of my favourite posts to share.. so instead of giving you all a half hearted Reads for the Weekend, I’m going to share my blogging goals I’m hoping to reach by the end of 2013. 2013 has been a really shitty, pardon my language, year for me in so many ways, but as I approach the end of the year things are starting to look up (touch wood) and i’m really looking forward…
