Shopping Spotlight – Cheap Frills
I was in two minds as to whether or not I felt like blogging today. I’ve felt rubbish all day as I started taking my tablets and all afternoon I wasn’t sure I could get my mind in order. However now that Little Miss is in bed and I’m enjoying the silence, I’ve managed to prop myself up with a blanket and some cushions and I’m feeling a bit better now that I have spent the last 20 minutes resizing some images. I REALLY want to blast the Frozen soundtrack all evening like I did yesterday but it all depends on how well my head decides to hold up! ANYWAY,…

Outfit of the Day – I’m Not a Princess, This Ain’t a Fairy Tale
Last night I surpassed 100,000 views on my blog. What an achievement! I couldn’t believe it when I logged in this morning to start this post and I was over the 100,000 views mark. I did actually “woop” with joy. It’s so nice to know people read my blog even if it’s not really all about that. My blog is what keeps me going on those bad days (well aside from Little Miss) I’m always looking for something to write about. It would be lovely to reach the 200,000 mark by next January! Here’s to hoping! As I mentioned last week, I’m trying to post more outfits. I do like…

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Lip Pencil in Ozone Review
Welcome to my first beauty review of 2014! As I mentioned back in my Public Service Announcement of Sorts post way back in September, I’m going to try and do at least one review a week. This helps me keep on top of all the awesome (or not so awesome) products I want to share with you. Today I’m talking about the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide of Lip Pencil in Ozone. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil in Ozone RRP £13, Debenhams I have always been an advocate of wearing lip liner with lipstick. It really helps limit feathering, makes your lips look fuller and acts as…

Outfit of the Day – Believing Is Just The Beginning
One of my more blog related resolutions was to post more outfit and fashion related posts. Fashion so far on the blog has mainly consisted of wishlists and style icons rather than focusing on my own personal style which was something I had wanted to focus on when I started Cocktails in Teacups. Now that I have my own home again and I have somewhere with half decent light to take photos, even if it is the kitchen, I have no excuse really not to do outfit posts. Well apart from the days I have crippling low self esteem, which sadly still happens on more days than I would like.…

Brand of the Month – Soap & Glory
LINKS HAVE ALL BEEN REMOVED AS PRODUCTS HAVE CHANGED/NO LONGER FOR SALE. Well it’s been a while since I explored this feature! It’s not because there hasn’t been a brand of the month, it’s that I just haven’t thought about writing one because of everything else going on in my little blog. I have so many things going on now that I struggle to keep track of them all every month. Although, I guess it does make sure my blog is constantly filled with different content! Anyway, this month I’m sharing my love for Soap & Glory. Soap & Glory is a brand I only really got into last Christmas…

Five Favourite Festive Shower Products
LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER FOR SALE You have to admit, one of the best things about Christmas, in regards to being a beauty blogger is all the festive products that are released. Some places like The Body Shop release different scented ranges every year, others bring back their old faithfuls in limited edition form like Kiehls, but the packaging always looks much better. And other places, like Lush, release a mixture of both. I’ll be the first to say there are plenty I am a sucker for. Especially when it comes to products to use in the shower, since I shower much more these days, at…
