Flamingo Gifts Review
ALL LINKS REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER AVAILABLE
Last week the wonderfully kind people at Flamingo Gifts offered me the chance to review some items from their website. I have been following them on Twitter & Instagram for a few week now and I love the range of unique and unusual gifts and homewares they had to offer so I was thrilled. A couple of days later I received a parcel in the post containing the goodies above. I was so impressed with how quickly everything arrived and how well packaged it was which is important when one of the items was a candle in a glass jar!
The candle in question was the one I featured in my Mother’s Day Gift Guide on Monday. In case you missed that post it is the absolutely amazing smelling Cheesecake Crunch Flamingo Candle* RRP £11, one of which I’ve been lusting after for ages. I really love Flamingo Candles because a) they’re made in the UK, I’m all for supporting home grown companies and b) they boost a fantastic 50 hour burning time. This being my 3rd Flamingo Candle I can vouch for the fact they have a long burning time and make the whole room smell fantastic. I think Cheesecake Crunch is my new favourite scent though!
I am a sucker for a pretty notebook so I was pretty excited to receive one of the prettiest I’ve ever owned, the Ted Baker Nude Brogue Notebook* RRP £11.04. The outside is what drew me in originally because I do often wear brogues but once I took it out the packet I could see that the pages were golden and instead there was an elaborate bird design on the front few pages. I have never owned anything Ted Baker before, I always considered anything other than the clothes to be quite tacky but this notebook is definitely going to make me have another look before I judge. It’s really good quality as well as just looking beautiful, need to decide what to use it for now!
Whenever I’m asked to choose something to review, I always head to the children selection as I like Little Miss to benefit from my blogging too. This time I picked out a new school bag for her as she’s had her original Cath Kidston one for coming up two years. I went for the Tyrrell Katz Princess Toddler Bag* RRP £15.26. Little Miss and I are a fan of Tyrrell Katz so I knew she’d like it. When it arrived I was so impressed because not only was the design incredibly pretty but it had side pockets as well as an inside pocket and straps across the front so it wouldn’t be too heavy on her shoulders. It was a HUGE hit with LM, she was so happy to have received some mail and her new bag had it’s first outing on Monday. I also picked out a Playtime Rules Sign* RRP £5.95 for her bedroom. I think it’s incredibly cute and the colours go well with her bedroom.
I definitely don’t think I’m going to be a stranger to Flamingo Gifts. The fact they sell Flamingo Candles is selling point enough for me, but they have a huge range of other things to suit every member of my family as well as items appealing to me for my own home. I’m definitely satisfied with the service they offer and everything is so well priced. At the moment they have a spring offer on for delivery for 1p! If that’s not an incentive to shop I don’t know what is!
