Looking Back on June 2016
Okay, so June wasn’t as much fun as May, but I did manage to not get dumped which is a success in itself and my boyfriend spent a total of 20 days at my house as well as me spending a further 3 days at his. We don’t get to spend as much time together in July sadly as I have a friend coming to stay for a week but I will be at his for two weekends out of the 5 that July has. It’s his birthday on the 30th and I’m looking forward to seeing him for that. Anyway, I’m on a tangent. I was supposed to spend…

Summer 2016 Essentials
LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER FOR SALE The last two days it has finally felt like summer is on it’s way, and because of that reason a summer related post had to be on the cards. It’s been a while since I mentioned any form of beauty products I regularly use on the blog so today I’m giving you my summer essentials. I always try to rotate my products with each season for my skin and hair to make sure the natural elements of each time of year don’t affect how I look. I know that’s a bit vain but with incredibly sensitive skin and crazy dyed…

Looking Back on May 2016
If you’ve been someone who has followed my blog since the beginning you know that every May I fall apart. It serves as a reminder of the darkest time of my life, when I nearly imploded and eventually escaped my abusive relationship. I still remember the events leading up to the 27th May 2012, I still have nightmares about the night of the 26th. Usually I’m a bigger basket case than on a regular day.. normally I take double my meds just to get through each day. However I haven’t been medicated since November of last year, and for the first May in four years, I’ve happy. May 2016 has…

Our Summer 2016 Bucket List
For almost a week we’ve seen the sun and it’s been wonderful. My mum says we’re back to rain and freezing weather by the end of the week, which is a little heart breaking but in the mean time, I’m looking to summer and what I’d like to do this year. Inspired by Louise’s Summer Listings post, I’ve put together my own bucket list for the summer. Spend more time outside. Teach Little Miss to ride a bike. Make use of the beach on our doorstep. Have playdates for Little Miss. Take more photos. Buy garden toys as LM outgrew all hers last year. See more friends. Spend the boyfriend’s…

10 Reasons I’m Proud to be British
It’s 2016 and this year in Great Britain we’re celebrating our Queen’s 90th birthday! If there is anything to make you feel proud to be British it’s anything to do with HRH Queen Elizabeth II. She is now our longest reigning monarch and although I don’t consider myself to be a royalist, I do feel proud to live in a country ruled by a Queen. Today I’m sharing some reasons I’m proud to be British. So enjoy, because this is a one off! We all know where my heart truly lies, but I won’t ever forget my roots! Roast Dinners Every Sunday the OH and I have a discussion about…

Looking Back on April 2016
I skipped doing a Looking Back on post for March because a) I hardly had any posts to share and b) I knew I wanted to write about aspects of our trip in my own time. So here we are looking back on April 2016. April wasn’t a great month for me. We arrived back in England on the morning of the 4th April and for two weeks after that everything just felt very flat and empty. I cried a lot, it was freezing cold and Little Miss didn’t want to sleep in her room alone. But things gradually started to improve and I’m actually looking forward to May! I…
