Christmas Ideas for Mums 2014 *
ALL LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. For me, the 1st of November means the start of Christmas. Yes, I like bonfire night on the 5th, but as of November it’s acceptable to write Christmas cards, wrap presents, burn Christmas candles and enjoy Christmas music. Everyone is in good spirits. The run up to Christmas is actually so much more exciting than the day itself once you’re an adult and I try to make it last as long as humanly possibly. Including putting my tree up on the last weekend of November. To celebrate the festive season, I’m kicking off my Christmas Gift Guides today. These were…

Introducing Elsa Arya
Today our family of two grew by one. My sister took Little Miss and I to pick up our absolutely beautiful kitten, Elsa Arya. We have looked at photos of her since July 28th but I honestly still can’t believe she’s finally home with us. I have wanted a cat since I was probably LM’s age and she is 100% worth waiting for, we’re both besotted. She’s a blue point ragdoll and her mummy is actually owned by blogger Kate of Pretty Little Us anyone who follows her on Instagram will be familiar with Luna. I have loved Luna since I first started following Kate and she has always…

Summer Travel Planning.. Where, When, What, How
So this is my very last post in regards to the trip I took to the States back in August. It was a once in a life time trip thanks to the competition I won in association with Travel Supermarket back in August 2013. Even though I had the money in my pocket, because I had so much I wanted to do I had to make sure I was still savvy when booking things. I travelled from London to Washington DC to New York to Niagara Falls to New Jersey then back to London. In 10 days. I stayed in lovely hotels, ate good food, spent time with some awesome…

Recipe No.24 Pressure Cooker Tomato & Basil Risotto*
One of my favourite things about the colder weather, is eating so much comfort food! I’m not talking about roast dinners (although I won’t say no to one of those) for me it’s soup, casseroles and my favourite, risotto. My mother could never be bothered to make risotto when I was a kid, in fact I taught myself to make it while I was at university and since it has been a staple in the older months. Plus it’s something I can guarantee Little Miss will eat. Making risotto is a lot of work, a lot of patience and stirring goes along with it. But I have finally found the…
