The Great Blog Shake Up
Every once in a while us bloggers become uninspired and complacent, am I right? I have been blogging for over 2 & a half years and since coming back from holiday I’ve hit a bit of a wall. I’d taken on a lot of freelance work before my trip to ensure I had plenty of dollars and if I’m honest, I completely burnt myself out as far as writing is concerned. While on holiday I didn’t blog at all and it felt good, so good that when I came back I still didn’t feel very inspired to write anything other than my holiday diary. But as those posts wore on…

Walt Disney World April 2015, Day 6 – Epcot
It’s been a few days since I shared the next day of my Florida holiday diary! As time went on I took more photos and other people took photos for me, so narrowing them down to enough that it will share the whole day but will also not kill everyone’s browsers is becoming harder and harder. Having an instagram account just to share LM’s adventures has become a godsend for gradually sharing all the photos.. I can’t believe in a month it almost has 1000 followers! Anyway, our 6 day was our day at Epcot. In hindsight we could have got more done but LM took a long nap in…

Fashion Content // Shoe Trends for 2015*
Fashion is a fickle mistress. One season we are all clattering about in the highest of heels, the next we are in flopping about in flats. the trick is to keep one step ahead to see what the big designers are being inspired by and what they are producing in their catwalk shows. The trickle down effect from Jimmy Choo to high street makes those beautiful, yet expensive shoes become a reality. So, let’s take a look at this year’s shoe trends so we can all have a slice of the action. The Gladiator This is the ultimate sandal for the Summer of 2015. Think warrior poses at your local…

Holiday in the Sun Essentials*
Aren’t you all bored of me harping on about my holiday yet? Yes? Well tough. I’m going at it all from a different angle today in talking about my holiday in the sun essentials. I haven’t taken a holiday where it has been “hot” since I was 20, that’s 7 years. Usually I have city breaks where although the weather has been cool, I haven’t had to worry about being out in the sun a lot due to a lot of sight seeing being indoors. Although a lot of a Disney Holiday can be indoors, I knew I needed to be prepared for some time out enjoying the sun, and…

Walt Disney World April 2015, Day 5 – Animal Kingdom
So, I made a huge mistake on the day we visited Animal Kingdom… I picked up the uncharged battery so by mid morning (right in the middle of the safari) my camera died on me. Heartbroken is the understatement so I have no photos of The Festival of the Lion King or Finding Nemo the Musical. Thank goodness for Photopass! We arrived at Animal Kingdom just after opening so we headed straight to Dinoland USA where we went on the Animal Kingdom version of Dumbo, twice. After that we took a walk around the park checking out where everything was. I find Animal Kingdom quite close and I couldn’t for…

Walt Disney World April 2015, Day 4 – 1900 Park Fare, Magic Kingdom & Hollywood Studios
Getting bored of this yet? Still another 6 more after this update! I’m not sure how many people are actually reading my Walt Disney World updates so I’m really just doing them for me so I can look back on them. I am eventually going to do restaurant reviews and tip posts which may be of more interest. But until then… Day 4. Our fourth day didn’t end up being as crazy as first anticipated! We had an early morning breakfast reservation at 1900 Park Fare with Bee, her partner Chris and her daughters Megan and Lily. I ended up getting on the wrong monorail and was slightly late but…
