My Favourite Piece of Home Tech*
I don’t know if it’s the love of Disney ingrained into me but whenever I hear “tech” these days I instantly think of Big Hero 6 (if you haven’t seen it yet, you must see it!) So when I was asked what my favourite piece of home tech was by the people at Joe Blogs Network all I could think was “microbots” of course I don’t actually have any microbots in my home, but it did at least give me something to think about. Although I wouldn’t consider myself to be a “gadget girl” by any length, I do enjoy technology and it plays a big part in my life.…

Jim Beam Bourbon Sauce Review
Has anyone actually managed to have a barbeque this year yet? I know we haven’t which is driving my dad crackers at the moment. However to cheer him up I’ve got him a new sauce to marinate the chicken in before it hits the coals, Jim Beam Bourbon Sauce*. I of course had to give it a try, he doesn’t like to flavour his meat with anything but the best (he considers himself to be a bit of a barbeque conciser) and today I’m going to share some thoughts with you on the stuff. Escentual Haul, June 2016
LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER FOR SALE I know people are very torn when it comes to hauls, some love them, some hate them. Well I’m one of the ones that love them. I love seeing what people have been buying because if I’m perfectly honest, it inspires me to go out and buy stuff too.. which of course is a bad thing but sometimes I really don’t care. I don’t often get to have a real spree, usually it’s just in Primark or while on holiday, I just don’t have that kind of money (mainly because i’m squirreling it away for adventures). Anyway, last week pretty…

Getting Your Feet Summer Ready*
ALL LINKS REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER FOR SALE Warning, this post contains discussion of feet. Although I’m someone who is completely against the whole notion of “summer ready bodies” as I feel it’s a personal choice as to whether or not you want to wear a swimsuit in public, lets face it, feet are a different story. I’m not even going to sugar coat this, but I have pretty gross feet. Years of dancing and waitress have left them ravaged and the fact my feet don’t actually sweat means there is little moisture in them. During the winter I’ll admit to the fact I’ve become complacent, I haven’t kept…

I Am The Mum Who…
It’s very rare I write about being a mother and what kind of a mother I am, I try to limit as much information about my daughter as possible on this public domain, mainly because her father doesn’t deserve to know what kind of a child she is. So instead I’ve decided to share what kind of a mum I am, because without a doubt motherhood is the greatest adventure I’ve embarked on so far in my life. I am the mum who… – was told I was having a boy and was going to name him Charlie. – always wanted to be a mother. – is complete rubbish at…

Better Safe than Sorry – 5 Important Things for Financial Security*
As I’m getting older I’m starting to look at ways to ensure both Little Miss and I live out a comfortable life, both now and in the future. It’s something I have avoided for a long time as it makes me feel far to grown up and adult like. However, now with a steady income and with recently loosing both my Grandfather’s it’s time to be practical. Today I’m sharing five important things I have been looking into to ensure financial security and making sure that neither myself nor LM have any unexpected extreme expenses. Pet Insurance. This isn’t something I’ve been looking into, it’s something I already have. When…
