An Essay on Why I Don’t Like Gilmore Girls (sorry)
So this past week the internet has been a buzz with the Netflix exclusive Gilmore Girls; A Year in the Life. A four episode revival after a 9 year break. Before I start I just want to say I have watched the show and the revival, I’m not hating on a show I haven’t seen. So for that reason, here is a little back story; I didn’t watch the show in it’s hay day, I chalked it up there with things like the OC, One Tree Hill and at that time in my life I wasn’t into American teen drama because I couldn’t really relate. I was a gawky geeky…

So with an order of pizza we spent Saturday night watching The Enchanted Christmas & Once Upon a Christmas and really decking the halls. Although I have to admit I feel less Christmassy each year until it gets closer to the day, it has helped lift my spirits a bit and the sitting room feels so cosy with all the lights on and the gingerbread candles burning. Now…

Lottoland Review*
How many times have you said “when I win the lottery” in response to everything that costs more money than you afford? How many times have you actually played the lottery while saying that line? The other day on the phone my boyfriend asked me how many times I’ve played the lottery, and the answer is twice. I played once on turning 16 and being able to buy my ticket in a right of passage and another time I played because it was a crazy jackpot and I guess I felt like I had a chance. My dad on the other hand uses “when I win the lottery” as an…
