Picnicking with Primula Dips
Hasn’t summer just been dreadful? However, on Friday we managed to get out for our first picnic of the year. We filled a basket and headed to The Alnwick Gardens. Although it was spitting on rain we weren’t deterred and set up camp on a big patch of grass opposite a beautiful fountain. We weren’t the only family, in fact there were a lot of young families with similar set ups, a picnic blanket and food from home. Fairytale Trail at Alnwick Gardens
Last week my sister and I decided to brave the weather (there had been heavy showers every day for days so we hadn’t managed to do anything), pack up a picnic and head down the road to Alnwick Gardens. The children’s centre my cousin works at had secured us complimentary tickets which was great news as the gardens can be an expensive day out. However if we had paid I wouldn’t have been disappointed, especially with the Fairytale Trail they currently have on.
