#ChristmasJumperDay 2015
In the UK today it’s #ChristmasJumperDay an annual tradition where you don your Christmas jumper (the uglier the better) and donate to charity. Not just any charity, but Save the Children. Every year since LM was a baby we’ve taken part but it’s only the last two years we’ve had these adorkable matching sweaters from Asda. When we purchased them a percentage of the sales went straight to Save the Children. They’re actually for men and LM’s is for a boy, but we don’t care! Today I matched ours with tartan. Mine, a tartan dress I bought years ago from ASOS and LM’s a pair of leggings from Cutie Pie…

#ChristmasJumperDay 2014
Today is Christmas Jumper Day! Last year Little Miss and I took part, so obviously when I saw matching sweaters in Asda that included a fair donation to Save The Children I knew what we would be wearing. If you are donning your festive sweater today, don’t forget to text JUMPER to 70050 to make your £2 donation. Save the Children is such a wonderful charity that helps children not just living in poverty around the world, but also here, right on our doorstep. I’m completely out of the swing of taking outfit posts. They’re just not top of my priority at the moment what with the bad weather meaning…

#ChristmasJumperDay 2013
If you’re not feeling remotely festive yet, I’d probably question your mentality slightly. This is my second Christmas as a mother though and I can no longer remember what it’s like to work right through December and not have Santa on the TV screen from the 1st November. Not that I mind. I’ve always enjoyed Christmas up until three years ago.. then I was ill.. followed by being pregnant and living with the worst person in the world and then last year, single mother with an under one year old.. HOWEVER, finally I feel like I’m getting back into my past festive ways. Tree up on the 25th November, Christmas…

Gift Ideas for Boyfriends This Christmas*
So guys, this is whole new world for me this Christmas! I am buying for a guy! Like not my Dad, or a brother, but for a BOYFRIEND. I know this is a complete rarity on this blog, and it is for me too! So of course, I’ve had that total panic about what to buy him this Christmas. As i’ve stated for many many years, I’m not the best when it comes to buying for men. Men don’t really do “cute” and that’s my specialty! But as we head into December, I’m very please that I have managed to come up with some great ideas I know he’ll love…

Christmas Jumpers with Zavvi*
I received these jumpers in return for an honest review. WOO it’s October, and for a lot of people that’s when they start thinking about the C word, as in Christmas. Since becoming a parent, I’ve always started my shopping in September, it gives me three full months to spread the cost, especially as i’m self employed. However, these days I feel like it’s more common with the average household receiving wages monthly rather than weekly. For example, as a kid my mum never used to start until after October half term, but she actually started last week while we were in town. While my sensible head always says this…

Christmas 2017 – Gift Guide for Men*
ALL LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER FOR SALE. Here we go, my second gift guide this week. A gift guide for men. I have a confession, I hate shopping for men.. and even though I’m down to one man to shop for (well a man and boy), it’s still hard. My dad has EVERYTHING, and why shouldn’t he in his late 50s with a house paid off? But it just makes it so hard for me to find something he doesn’t have. I’m sure I’m not the only one out there who finds men so hard to buy for, so fingers crossed this gift guide helps! I…
