Gift Ideas for Boyfriends This Christmas*

So guys, this is whole new world for me this Christmas! I am buying for a guy! Like not my Dad, or a brother, but for a BOYFRIEND. I know this is a complete rarity on this blog, and it is for me too! So of course, I’ve had that total panic about what to buy him this Christmas. As i’ve stated for many many years, I’m not the best when it comes to buying for men. Men don’t really do “cute” and that’s my specialty! But as we head into December, I’m very please that I have managed to come up with some great ideas I know he’ll love and I want to share them with any other hapless girlfriends (like myself) who need gift ideas for boyfriends this Christmas!

Now that we’re in our 30s, he’s more concious about what he wears but he is very much a jeans and hoodie guy. The simple design and branding is right up his street and it washes well. It’s soft and very comfortable to wear. It’s also a good length if your partner happens to be tall, meaning if he stretches then it won’t ride up. A real quality product. This yeah, with money being tight for many I’m all about giving the gift of experience. If you’re going to have to pull in your belts and give up a lot of your social life. This is a gift that can spread over into the new year, and could even be a little pick me up during blue January. Because lets face it, one of the nicest things in life is going out for a romantic meal with your other half and knowing neither of you have to do the dishes!

If He Likes to Travel

There is a high chance your other half has been using the same luggage since he was a teenager. Be it backpack, a hold all or a 2 wheel suitcase, it’s probably very tatty and very outdated. So why not get him some new luggage? I love the four wheel suitcase, it’s so easy to navigate through a busy airport and so many are cabin approved. Or if he’s more of a backpack person you can even get ones that fit a whole weekends worth of clothes into it. If by some miracle he has newer luggage you could make get him a toiletry bag instead.

If He Likes to Game

The most logical gift ideas for boyfriends in this day and age obviously surround gaming. No matter what walk of life your partner comes from, it’s highly likely he’ll enjoy gaming to some capacity. Games can be an expense that some men don’t want to spare especially around Christmas. So why not surprise him with a game he’s had on his wish list for a while? Yes, you might lose him to the latest Call of Duty for a few hours (days/weeks?) but I bet it’ll mean a lot to him to know you’re supporting his time consuming pass time!

If YOU Like Him to Smell Good

As the girlfriend we’re more likely to be the ones smelling our man so we want them to smell good, right? If your man isn’t fussed about how he smells as long as you like it, then you need to know that Next is now selling Bath & Body Works here in the UK and that stuff is good! It’s a little on the pricier side but that stuff smells good!

I’m sure whatever you get him, he’ll love! So try to not put too much pressure on yourself, at least that’s what I’m trying!
