Outfit of the Day – Watch & You’ll See Some Day I’ll Be, Part of your World
When in doubt, dress up. This whole week has felt like an uphill struggle and tomorrow it culminates in my grandfathers funeral. I haven’t slept well so this morning I needed a fashion pick me up in the form of one of my Disney dresses. I missed last week’s Disney Side personal style post so I was going to make sure I got one up. I’m already panicking I won’t get all my dresses shared before I go! It definitely helped put a smile on my face wearing Disney today, especially as it was a dress with my fashion inspiration Ariel on it. Lotta Rosie Headband in Turquoise £18,…

For The First Time in Forever, I’m Getting What I’m Dreaming Of
Well there was always going to be a Frozen outfit SOMEWHERE, right? In fact, I have two Frozen patterned dresses, and one Anna coronation inspired dress to take on holiday with me, so technically that makes this one the first of three. This is also the first of my handmade dresses. I bought this one last summer before I’d even decided I wanted all Disney inspired outfits to take on holiday. I saw it on a lovely lady called Lisa’s Instagram selling page and I knew I just had to have it. Not only is it one of the very rare Disney pieces she’s ever made but the cut is…

Outfit of the Day – I Want Adventure in the Great Wide Somewhere
Onto my third outfit post of 2015. I really hope I can keep these up as they’re really helping with my rubbish self esteem. I also can’t believe that we’re into the third week of the year already, doing a weekly series definitely makes you realise how fast time actually goes. It’ll be April before I know it! Anyway, today’s personal style post features possibly my favourite Hot Topic dress. When I was in my teenage years, out of all the Disney princesses I definitely most identified with Belle. I felt like an outsider in my town, even in my only family. I liked books and good food and wine,…

Personal Style – Now I’m Here, Blinking in the Starlight
Week two of showcasing my holiday wardrobe (styled for winter though since it’s freezing cold and crazy windy) and I’m managing to keep up. My trouble with trying to do outfit posts is the time. Firstly it has to be in the morning because a) my hair and make up don’t look like i’ve been dragged through a hedge and b) the light in the kitchen. Then obviously Little Miss needs to be occupied. If she’s having a relatively moany morning I can’t very well spending time in the kitchen with the door shut, I have to be present and ready to play. Thankfully this morning she was happy playing…

Personal Style – Tell me, princess now when did you last, let your heart decide?
Firstly, originally I had absolutely no intention of blogging until I finally got my blog switched over to self hosted WordPress. I wanted a new start along with the new year. However it’s taking longer than I first anticipated due to Enom delaying in releasing my domain. I could of course have this page redirect to a WordPress one but it seems silly to mess around then to only have to try and switch it back when my domain name is finally switched over. I’m really not the most technical minded so I’d prefer to only sort it once. So here I am again! I have loads of new content…

Outfit of the Day – That Smile I Lost, Well I’ve Found Somehow
I have been so lax on the outfit front so when my beautiful Blue Vanilla skirt arrived I just knew I had to make an effort to blog about it. So today was a bit sunny and a bit rainy but I thought, what the heck? I have an umbrella. So out I went. Only to my back garden though… Intergalactic Starlight Crown £10, Crown & Glory Miss Selfridge Leather Jacket (as seen here), Vinted Black Basic Top (ancient, similar here), H&M Live & Love Necklaces £4 each, Charmed Ivy Umbrella (belongs to my mum) Giovana Double Layer Skirt* £24, Blue Vanilla Trasparenze Gennifer Merino…
