Outfit of the Day – Red Suede Shoes
You all know I’m not the biggest fan of doing outfit posts, I’m very judgmental on the way I look. I’m always picking faults and I don’t think I’ll ever be happy in my own skin. I occasionally do a what I wore as a way of battling this. I’ll not go into too much what I think about them, but on the plus side I’ve found the place with the best natural light, the kitchen! So all photos in the future will be taken in the kitchen. I’ve gone for a very casual outfit. Since being a mother I spend more and more time dressed casually for easiness. I…

#215 Shopping Spotlight – Bits and Bows Boutique
WARNING, this is an outfit post.. and we all know how dreadful I look in outfit posts. I really can’t decide if it’s because my camera is rubbish, my tripod isn’t tall enough, I have no good lights, I’m rubbish or I’m just not photogenic. But anyway, here are some rubbish photos as ever. In January I am going to take a proper camera course and hopefully by then I’ll be able to afford a DSLR to take with my to class. But for today… I have more photos that do not justify the lovely dress. The outfit is completely Jess Day of New Girl inspired, as I’m currently addicted…

#186 Shopping Spotlight – Sleeping Beauty Shoes
Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday! I am absolutely shattered after the busiest week in ages! Last night I didn’t get home until after midnight from my Aunt’s ladies night. It was a scream! My mum, my aunts and all my female cousins, that live in the UK anyway, where there. It’s funny how so alike most of us are, even in looks. We don’t see each other as much as I’d like but growing up we were all so close that it means we have so much hilarious reminiscing to do over a few bottles of wine when we do get together. Then today it was the Trades Fours,…

#91 Miss Geekay Jewellery Review
A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by the lovely Gillian of Miss Geekay Jewellery. We exchanged a few emails back and forth as she introduced her new online shop. After checking it out for myself, I instantly fell in love with some of her pieces, which she tells me are inspired by the high street & magazines. The best part of all? Everything is less than £5! I was lucky enough to be sent a couple of my favourite pieces. The items arrived beautifully wrapped with a cute personalised tag. I’m a real sucker when companies make things personal! Anyway, I’d mentioned to Gillian how much I adored…

#58 Shop Dixi Review (& my very first OOTD, eep!)
Firstly, my camera is pretty much dead. I spent a good 15 minutes trying to get it to come on, then trying to get it to focus is like coaxing my daughter out of the bath.. near impossible! It seems to focus on one side but not the other so my photos end up half blurred sometimes, frustrating. I’m desperately selling my life to try and raise £100 before I go away next week to buy a half decent one as I’m finally meeting my friends baby boy and I want to take lots of photos! I’ve raised £30 so far. Secondly, my hair. It’s dreadful. It’s in desperate need…
