Enhance Your Natural Beauty WITHOUT Going Under The Knife*

Living in the Western world, it is easy to feel pressure to adhere to a certain ideal of beauty. We see images every day in magazines which are pretty much unachievable, yet in the same magazine read a feature on how we should love ourselves just the way we are. It’s all a bit confusing and offers us quite a conflicting message, to say the least. But practising self love can be especially difficult if you are painfully self-conscious about a certain part of your appearance. Confidence is the real key to looking radiant and glowing – so dealing with something that knocks your confidence can be hard. It is this feeling which prompts so many people in getting plastic surgery to change their appearance. But, this can be risky and can also lead to a lifetime of surgery addiction, as they strive for ultimate perfection. If you are feeling low because of a certain aspect of your appearance, don’t rush to go under the knife! There are plenty of other easy things you can do to make the most of your natural beauty.

Invest in good makeup

We’ve all heard and seen people complaining how people can go as far as “cat fishing” just because they know how to expertly apply makeup that changes their whole face. And while I can’t say I know how to expertly apply, I do know personally the difference it can make to not just how I look, but my self esteem. The secret? Invest in the good stuff. The ICONIC makeup is a great one stop shop for picking up all the big brand names and it will still be cheaper (and less painful) than any cosmetic procedures. Not only that, but makeup gives you a huge range of looks, neutral for day, to smokey for those nights out. A much better investment.

Hair

Get regular trims to ensure that your natural hair grows long and healthy. Thickening shampoos can help give you a luxurious ‘mermaid’ look without the risk of any damage – and always get a haircut that suits your face shape. As for men, you may be worrying that hair loss could be in your future, but you don’t have to. You can now buy customized man hair in any style you want that will have you feeling confident in no time.

Gym instead of liposuction

Many people turn to liposuction to get rid of their fat after failed attempts to lose weight. You may have tried every diet and exercise under the sun with no results – or so you think. Different workouts work for different people and you just may not have found the right one for you yet. If you’re used to jogging for miles on the treadmill, why not switch it up with a HIIT routine? You’ll shed fat much quicker and will also feel positive and motivated.

Braces instead of dental surgery

Our teeth are a vital part of our facial appearance, and also are a dead giveaway for how healthy we are. If you have crooked teeth or discoloration due to poor dental care, don’t immediately rush off to a cosmetic surgeon. Instead, your dentist may be able to offer you a treatment such as Invisalign. These are basically invisible braces which straighten your teeth over a period of time. Combine the use of these with a whitening toothpaste and you’ll soon have stunning pearly whites in no time!

Dermatology instead of facelifts

We put our skin through a lot – whether that’s excessive exposure to sunlight, or not having a proper skincare routine, leaving it dull and dry. You may suffer from premature wrinkles, or maybe you have a case of acne that has followed you into adulthood. Whatever the case, being self-conscious about your skin is never fun. But this doesn’t mean to say that you need to start having injections or chemical peels. You may not have just found the right product yet. Visit a dermatologist who will be able to assess your skin and provide a treatment plan for you.
