#58 Shop Dixi Review (& my very first OOTD, eep!)
Firstly, my camera is pretty much dead. I spent a good 15 minutes trying to get it to come on, then trying to get it to focus is like coaxing my daughter out of the bath.. near impossible! It seems to focus on one side but not the other so my photos end up half blurred sometimes, frustrating. I’m desperately selling my life to try and raise £100 before I go away next week to buy a half decent one as I’m finally meeting my friends baby boy and I want to take lots of photos! I’ve raised £30 so far. Secondly, my hair. It’s dreadful. It’s in desperate need…

#57 Let’s go to the movies, let’s go see the stars!
In honor of the BAFTAs this evening, I thought I’d share the list of movies I am hoping to see at some point in 2013. I’m sat with a top knot in my hair and pjs on, gorging on nutella on toast (well my one slice treat) wishing I was dolled up to the nines sat in the audience, but since I’m not, I feel like writing about movies and of course maybe I could come back to the list at the end of the year and see how many I did manage to see be it on DVD or if i’m lucky in the cinema. I’m going to the…

Urban Decay Oz Pallet in Theodora Review
Firstly, my photos aren’t great. My wee point and shoot is starting to get old, it doesn’t like flash free photos anymore! I think once I get a bit of money behind me I’m going to save for something better, something of an investment as I do take a lot of photos, I just tend to use my phone now as camera flashes still aren’t the baby’s favourite thing. ANYWAY, I digress. Last month I made a lot of money on eBay selling some clothes that no longer fitted. It’s been sat in my paypal account for a rainy day and since last week was just seven days of rain…

#50 Recipe No.5 Oeufs en Cocotte (Eggs in Pots)
Wow.. this is my 50th blog post! I’m pretty impressed at that, and proud. I am thoroughly enjoying keeping this up, so much so I plan on updating every day for the whole of February! I figured since it’s the shortest month of the year, I’d give it a go. Shouldn’t be too difficult as I have loads of blog posts planned and I finally know how to schedule them! My weekend has been hectic and stressful (seems to be the way with my life at the moment) but tomorrow night my mum, sister & I have a girly night planned and we are finally going to watch Brave! Can’t…

#47 Recipe No.4 Cheats Carbonara
My mother was making stovies tonight with corn beef.. I hate both stovies and corn beef (not to mention I’m back on my diet) so she suggested I make my own tea. Having not an awful lot to work with (as I missed the shopping trip yesterday) I decided on an altered version of my cheat carbonara, using yellow peppers instead of the usual mushrooms, as of course my mother didn’t buy mushrooms. It’s not one of my best recipes (or photography for that matter) but it’s so fast, so cheap, healthy and tasty, come on what more do you want? I ate this a lot when I was saving…

#43 The Lollipop Shoes by Joanne Harris Review
Seeking refuge and anonymity in the cobbled streets of Montmartre, Yanne and her two daughters live peacefully, if not happily, above their little chocolate shop. Nothing unusual marks them out; no red sachets hang by the door. The wind has stopped – at least for a while. Then into their lives blows Zozie de l’Alba, the lady with the lollipop shoes, ruthless, devious and seductive. With everything she loves at stake, Yanne must face a difficult choice; to flee, as she has done so many times before, or to confront her most dangerous enemy… Herself. I read Chocolat back in 2011 and I LOVED it (looking on Good Reads, it’s one of…
