Historical U.S. Cities You Must See *

    February 4, 2014 /

As I’ve mentioned in previous blog posts, I have a strong love for travelling, the U.S, and history. With that in mind, getting the opportunity to combine all three is one of my ultimate travel goals. But because the States are so vast, it would be virtually impossible for me to see every place I find interesting. Some of the oldest cities with the most history, however, are located along the East Coast and can easily be seen by train or car. Just remember that you’ll need to pack travel essentials that can easily be transported abroad. For instance, the U.S. Transportation and Security Administration has certain requirements for travelling…

    January Reads

    February 1, 2014 /

As I’ve resolved to read more books this year I thought i’d blog about what I read monthly rather than doing a review of each. I always struggle with book reviews because I don’t like giving too much away. I’m more of a “read it!” or “don’t read it!” kind of person. This way I can simply write a few sentences about what I think about each book then tell you all whether I recommend it or not. I can also keep track on my blog what I’ve read as well as on Goodreads. I managed three books this month and I’m half way through my forth. I would have…

    Two.

    January 28, 2014 /

Two years ago today, at 16:20 weighing 5lbs 2oz my beautiful daughter was born 13 days early. I loved her from the moment I saw her and I love her more every day. Today really brought home how incredibly proud I am of the little girl she’s turning into. She’s smart, funny, imaginative, polite and incredibly beautiful. I love every second being her mother, even on the bad days, which are thankfully few and far between. We had a rough two years but I think it’s made our relationship stronger. I love being her mummy, she’s everything I could ever of wish for in a child.  We have had a…

Agent Provocateur Maitresse Eau Provocateur Review

    January 26, 2014 /

Maitresse Eau Provocateur * Harvey Nichols Sometimes I can’t believe how lucky I am as far as my blog is concerned. A couple of weeks ago when I was asked to review an Agent Provocateur perfume I was overjoyed! Although I am a devout Marc Jacobs girl I can’t feel that sometimes they’re a little bit, girlish. I’ve always associated Agent Provocateur as a more woman brand, and a brand I have always wanted to try. When this beautifully packaged parcel arrived on my doorstep, I couldn’t of been more overjoyed. After making my way through the tissue paper I instantly opened the box for a sniff. Usually I…

Outfit of the Day – Skin White as Snow

    January 22, 2014 /

I’m so glad I took these photos earlier on today because as the day has worn on I’ve felt myself coming down with something so I really want to spend the next few hours curled up on the sofa with my book. My dad and sister have had this wicked cold for a few weeks, then my mum and Little Miss caught it and now from the tightness of chest and sore ear I’m pretty sure I’ve got it. Typical with it being Little Miss’ birthday next week!  Despite the fact my sister was feeling rubbish, she twisted my arm this afternoon to meet up with her and my nephew…
