Lifestye Content // When is the Right Time to Switch Energy Providers? *

    January 21, 2014 /

Credit During the past few years, the UK domestic energy market has been noteworthy for a series of hefty price spikes, where the major providers all raise prices within a relatively short period. This has happened several times, leaving customers facing bills up top 50% higher than just a few years ago. However, while the overall trend is for much higher prices, customers have also become much savvier about choosing and switching suppliers, with a wealth of solid consumer advice available to help people pick the best deal for their circumstances and region. The domestic customer is also much more prone to making changes to their supplier – often…

Recipe No. 21 Chicken Wrapped in Bacon with Blue Cheese Sauce

    January 20, 2014 /

I’m really struggling with tiredness at the moment, hence not blogging last night. I mainly napped and took a bath and I still didn’t get much sleep despite trying to relax all evening. So frustrating! So today is seemingly Blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year, to be honest I thought after the morning I had I was in for a bad day (woke up to no electricity then the wheel broke on the pushchair) but after a chilled out afternoon, a fun bath time for Little Miss then my mum coming for dinner, it actually hasn’t been too bad. My mum stayed for a good two hours…

    Keeping Red Hair Red

    January 18, 2014 /

ALL LINKS REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER AVAILABLE So today I’ve decided to share with you what products I use on my (dyed) red hair. My hair has been this colour for five months now and I can’t see me being any colour other for a good while. Prior to going red, I had the ombre look, and although I did love it, the two boxes of hair dye a month was pretty expensive (two as I have to dye my hair brown first due to being naturally blonde). The hair dye I used I had bought back in May when I dyed my hair really dark brown for the…

Wish You Were Here – Edinburgh

    January 17, 2014 /

The week before Christmas I had a friend visiting from the US, she was staying for a couple of nights at my house but we decided to spend both the days taking the train up to Edinburgh. She particularly wanted to visit the castle. I haven’t visited the castle since I was a child so despite the hefty ticket price (£16 for an adult) I was looking forward to it. It was so cold but fair, a real winters day when we headed up for a look around. I managed to take some wonderful photos and I thought i’d share them today. I do love castles and history so it…

Sleek Face Form in Fair Review

    January 16, 2014 /

Despite still feeling dreadful I’ve decided this evening to pull my head out of my ass and get back to work. So tonight I’m sharing another review as it seems the kindest way to get back into this. I was afraid if I didn’t blog tonight I would of completely fallen out of the way of it. I definitely don’t have bloggers block as I have a list of post ideas as long as my arm, I’m just so exhausted at the moment between Little Miss having a cough and my insomnia. Which reminds me, thank you so much for all the wonderful and helpful comments on my post The…

    Shopping Spotlight – Cheap Frills

    January 13, 2014 /

I was in two minds as to whether or not I felt like blogging today. I’ve felt rubbish all day as I started taking my tablets and all afternoon I wasn’t sure I could get my mind in order. However now that Little Miss is in bed and I’m enjoying the silence, I’ve managed to prop myself up with a blanket and some cushions and I’m feeling a bit better now that I have spent the last 20 minutes resizing some images. I REALLY want to blast the Frozen soundtrack all evening like I did yesterday but it all depends on how well my head decides to hold up! ANYWAY,…
