    Spring Favourites

    April 27, 2014 /

You might remember back in January I shared my favourite products for Winter and in October I share my favourite Autumn products, well today I’m sharing my favourite Spring products. These are a mixture of products I have purchased this Spring or I’m using from my stash because their colours and scents make me think of Spring. For some reason the change of season makes me want to change up the sort of products I use, from the make up I wear to the style of my hair or even the smell of products I use. It’s nice to keep a note of what are my current favourites and I…

Outfit of the Day – #EatSleepBlogRepeat

    April 26, 2014 /

Today I’ve been to The Land of the Geordies for a blog meet with the most wonderful of names #EatSleepBlogRepeat. It was organised by the truly lovely Paul who runs the blog Taste of the North and he was a very gracious host. I have to admit that I was pretty damn excited since I haven’t made it to any blogger events so far this year due to my parents being unable to babysit or having something else on that day. I was also nervous, as I always am, especially when it came to walking in myself. However I recognised Kloe of Skulls & Kisses almost straight away and she…

Shopping Spotlight – The Princess and the Frock

    April 25, 2014 /

In case you’re new to the blog, or you have been living under a rock, I announced the other week that I’m taking Little Miss to Disneyland Paris next month with my mum. I’m so excited for our first holiday abroad together and like with every trip I take, everything is planned from where we’re going to go on what day down to what is in my toiletry bag and how many pull ups Little Miss needs! So as a belated Easter gift, I treated Little Miss to a very special dress to wear on the day dedicated to the Disneyland park. I first heard of The Princess and the…

Lifestyle Content // A Whistle Stop Guide to Buying a Bed *

    April 24, 2014 /

Credit Buying a bed can be every bit as much of a big fashion decision as getting a new pair of shoes y’know… Here are a few of my top tips for buying a bed that can be a true credit to your bedroom: Tell the legitimate bedding revolutions from the fashion fads… Presumable since the very first beds were sold we’ve been presented with all kinds of new and intriguing bedding designs. Some of these have been genuinely innovative, like the memory-foam mattresses that help thousands to get a better sleep every night. On the other hand, are the flashes in the pan, the zany, fashionable bedding ideas that…

Where Amy Ate – The City Cafe, Edinburgh

    April 22, 2014 /

I can’t believe the last Where Amy Ate was my Paris Edition! That shows how little I have been eating out, or at least remembering to take photos when I eat out. With saving like mad so I have a good amount of spending money for my holidays, eating out is now limited to Cafe Nero or the cafe in Asda! And I’m pretty sure neither of them need to be reviewed. I love eating out too, but since i’m going to be eating abroad for 2 weeks of the year, I figured i’ll have lot of places to talk about then. Anyway, last month when the lovely Hayley of…

Outfit of the Day – Vinted Girl

    April 21, 2014 /

I really hope everyone has had a lovely Easter Weekend! On the whole, I have, apart from the fact Little Miss is going through the clingiest phase ever! As I write this it’s sunny and mild so I have the back door open, her table out with her dinner on and all her toys, yet she’s currently sat on my feet right outside the door. Little Miss hasn’t had a clingy phase since she had just turned one, a year of independence has actually been bliss and now i’m taking badly to her climbing up my legs constantly and crying at the drop of the hat. Sigh. I got through…
