My Top 5 Game of Thrones Moments (so far) Challenge *
Recently Mecca Bingo challenged me to come up with my top five Game of Thrones moments and if i’m honest after Monday’s episode being so bloody awesome I really struggled to come up with just five. Mockingbird has to be my favourite episode so far this season, if not of the series. So much good came of it and I definitely, laughed, cried and cheered which are all hugely important when it comes to whether or not I enjoy a program. Game of Thrones is a truly wonderful program, one of the few that my whole family get together to discuss. The characters are awesome, the millions of storylines all…

Stationary at Viking Direct Review
ALL LINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AS ITEMS NO LONGER FOR SALE. Who doesn’t love new stationary? Who’s favourite part about going back to school in September, wasn’t the all important purchasing of the new pencil case and all it’s contends? I am guilty of that. And even now, I am a sucker for beautiful stationary. I have 101 gorgeous notebooks that I fill with ideas and lists, I have boxes of pencils all used for different things. Even when it comes to stationary for Little Miss, I’m a snob and always go for Crayola as my dad instilled in my sister and I that that is…

Paul Mitchell Neuro Styling Event in Newcastle
So yesterday I was kindly invited to one of the Gary Hedley Salons for the Paul Mitchell Intelligent Styling Event. I haven’t been to an actual even since last year and so far only two blog meets so needless to say, I was excited. I met up with a few other bloggers at the entrance to Eldon Square before we all nervously headed down to the salon, not really knowing what to expect. It was a really intimate event and we were welcomed warmly. Instantly supplied with drinks and offered canapes. There were a few bloggers there I recognised but we were surrounded by stylists and models so it was…

Bloggers Teaspoon Social in Aid of Lupus
On Saturday I attended my second blogger event in recent months and it was a good one! Hosted by the lovely Rachel of Happy Little Syllables & Becca of The Polka Dot Notebook in aid of Lupus, the Bloggers Teaspoon was a truly delightful afternoon tea party and I feel so happy to have attended and help raise money. It was held in one of my old haunts from my time spent living in Newcastle, The Salsa Cafe, my ex and I spent plenty of evenings in there before or after the cinema, so it was nice to return. We were treated to tea by Teapigs, cakes, nibbles, chatting and…
