My Hair Routine
Evening! I thought I’d give you all a break from the bombardment of product reviews! Tonight I’m going to talk about my current hair care routine as I know how much everyone likes to have a nosy at routines. I want to first say, I’m not a hair expert. I go with whatever products work best for my hair/are on offer but it always follows a similar formula. I’m going to share with you some of my favourite products and some of the products i’m using just now. For reference my hair is currently mid-length, slightly choppy, dyed brown with the ends bleached. It’s normal and doesn’t often get…

#136 Hair Week Day 1 – Macadamia Natural Oil Haircare Review
Second post today, you’ll find there is a few days this week where there will be two posts. I really hope you don’t all want to kill me after this week but I just want to fit everything in! Seven days is not enough! I’ll get on with it and make it quick, promise! My first hair product (or products as in this case) review of the week is of Macadamia Natural Oil Haircare. I’m sure by now most beauty bloggers if not all bloggers will have heard of Macadamia. I’ve been desperate to try some of their products for a while now so I’m sure you can imagine how…

North East Lush Event
As I’ve mentioned time and time again, Lush is one of my favourite brands for when it comes to bath products. I bought my first ever bath ballistic when I was 17, so for any of you interested, that is now 8 years ago! It was the infamous Fairy Jasmine (if you’re a fan of Ross Noble, you’ll know exactly why I’ve called in infamous!) Ever since, I’ve been hooked on their bath products and I always have a decent size supply stashed away. ANYWAY.. as soon as I heard there was going to be an event held at the Metro Centre branch of Lush, organised by Danny of Adventures…

Where Amy Ate – Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Metro Centre
As most of you know, tonight is Game of Thrones night so I just don’t have time to do my lovely big ass post about yesterdays North East Lush Event (which was fantastic by the way, so stay tuned!) So instead I bring you two smaller posts. One is the second part in my Where Amy Ate (this one) and the other is a book I started yesterday and finished today. Neither require a lot of editing photos which for me is the most time consuming part of putting a post together. Before the North East Lush Event, a few of us bloggers decided to meet before hand and go…

All The Colours of the Rainbow
So my Weekly Wardrobe posts have now become whatever i’m wearing on Friday posts due to feeling pretty unphotogenic lately. I want to blame the light and the fact I am rubbish at taking selfies.. but in all honesty, I just don’t think I photograph well! I’m hoping when I get into my new house (whenever that is) I’ll have better places to do outfit posts because I do enjoy keeping track of what I’ve been wearing! As you are aware, last week I took part in the Blog Sale Extravaganza with some other bloggers (and if you don’t know, go check it out, loads left!) I wasn’t just wanting…

#120 Peaches for Monsieur le Cure by Joanne Harris Review
When Vianne Rocher receives a letter from beyond the grave, she has no choice but to return to Lansquenet, where she once owned a chocolate shop and learned the meaning of home. But returning to one’s past can be a dangerous pursuit, and Vianne and her daughters find the beautiful French village changed in unexpected ways: women veiled in black, the scent of spices in the air, and—facing the church—a minaret. Most surprising of all, her old nemesis, Francis Reynaud, desperately needs her help. Can Vianne work her magic once again? Back in January I read the sequel to Chocolat; (you know the movie with Johnny Depp? well it was…
