March Reads
Three months in and another three books read! I’m really impressed with last months reading because i’ve been so busy with everything that I really have had little time to myself, especially to read. However I did managed to finish off The Great Gatsby that I started last month, then follow it up with two books by Rainbow Rowell, an author I only discovered due to receiving Eleanor & Park for my birthday from Kariss. I haven’t started anything else since finishing Fangirl but I’ve ended up buying a lot of books last month, whoops so I better crack on with it. Hopefully April is going to be much quieter…

To My Daughter, Love Forever
Today, as everyone in the UK is aware, is Mothering Sunday, or simply Mothers Day. This is my third as a mother, and second as a blogger. I do still very much think of mothers day in regard to my own mum. Yesterday my aunt told me to “enjoy your day tomorrow” and it took me a good few seconds to realise she was talking about the fact I’m a mum and it’s my day as much as my own mums day. I think part of this is to do with the fact I don’t have an other half to make it special for me and my own daughter isn’t…

Planning a Fun Filled Spring with a Child *
It only seems like five minutes since I was talking about my plans for the Christmas break and here we are inching ever closer to Easter. I always look forward to the school holidays despite the fact my daughter is only two, more so because my mum and best friend get time off work. Due to money being tight at the moment i’m already trying to budget for some fun activities to do with Little Miss to make Easter time seem more special, as when children are young they’re yet to understand what they are actually celebrating and besides, as i’m not religious I see Easter more as a celebration…

I’ll Take Waiting Over Settling Any Day of The Week – #3dates3mths 1st Month Update
So it’s been just over a month since I announced my return to the dating game. I say game, although this time around I don’t want to play any bloody games! I have to admit, my fear of the “game playing” is what makes me feel so afraid of starting to date. Last time around my whole life was turned into one big messy game of chess and I don’t want to go back to that again. I’ve been undertaking Just Singles #3dates3mths challenge for over a month now and I have honestly been trying, even to the point of indulging in some harmless stalking! First things first, I managed…

The Adventure Begins… Summer Travels Planning
I had something else I was going to blog about tonight but after doing something that some may consider stupid or crazy, I decided I wanted to blog about how I’m spending my Travel Supermarket prize money. Because tonight I spent half of it on flights. As some of you may remember, I’ve been umming and ahhing over what to use my £1000 prize money for that I won with my Holiday Postcards entry last summer. It’s been sat in my savings account since then and quite frankly I have been desperate to spend it. My mum agreed to have Little Miss for a total of nine days (seven days…
